I made a thread a little while back and a poster said that they get your IGNs through the friend finder feature.

Meaning... even new characters will get whispered too.

I've pretty much disabled whispers now.

There was a thread somewhere that said symbol locking is just as obsolete as number and letters. It had to do with bad encryption or something.

Do not be worried, just an advertising method.

eek, thought it was just me, but where did they get my ign from? ;o i didnt go in fm or anything... i was hting -.-

I got whisped by that same exact site.

I used to get chat invites from them whenever I entered the fm, not sure about whispers because of the ridiculous amount of text going on in the fm.

happened to me twice.. im worried cuz the first 1 i actually responded cuz when the meso farmer whisped me i was already on my way to ch1 fm and then i see green letters..? so i go back to my previous ch and responded ''sorry went to ch1 can u repeat''? x.x worrynessss
