Can you get hacked this way
I was on one of my mule characters when I got a whisper from a person.
It said that she (according to the character) was going to hack my account
by tracking my IP address. Is this even possible?
Should I be worried at all?

Hmm..came back to this thread to see any responses and woah o.o
Well thanks, I found out that it was just one of those botters with a huge amount of shops in the fm.
IP tracing through MapleStory: impossible (without extreme hassle)
IP tracing through other methods (email/etc): possible
If you're paranoid just scan your computer and maybe change pass and crap...
They're probably bluffing though
So many hacked accounts it's hard to tell when people are actually serious anymore

lol, its possible my friend did that and got 2.3m in nx. all he did was ip track than he controlled the guys computer and than started taking everything away i thought it was fun and awsome

Actually, there is. I've seen one before.
But even then, they probably wouldn't be able to hack your maple account.
basicly you need someones MAC address to hack them. because them
just having their IP wont do anything
now however there is a way to keylog through MS im not going to
go into Details on it but trust me ive discovered it
