My old one broke, need one for MV. My old one was a TI-83 so yea......

We're not allowed to use calculators at my college.
I use a TI-83, and from my AP stats course in high school, there were only a few things that couldn't be done on an 83 (*so we had to borrow 84s from our teacher). But you're talking MV Calc which I'm not at yet, so I don't know what you need to do lol

I can get a better one but my current calculator's button is soooo soft

Multi variate Calculus. And I have just heard so many great things about the HP 50. I was curious if anyone here had one xD.

TI-84 should serve all of your needs, unless you're doing some kind of really specialized class. Speaking of which, what's MV?
