Could anyone please help? Having trouble of finding the answer to part b. How do i use q in order to find R?

Ok. You find the intersection between the first equation and the second equation. Once done, integrate long the x-axis using the cubic equation from 0 to intersection, and then the line until the x-intercept of the linear equation.
