Ideal specs for a decent/average gaming pc

What would the recommended specs and components be for a desktop pc?
Haven't used a desktop pc for practical use for a good few years and I was just wondering .

An ideal pc that can play all of this generations games at moderate fps and settings would be a 750ti along with either Am fx-6000 series or an intell i3 or i5. This would be a step above entry level gaming and would be a step below above average making it moderate.

This is a badly worded question with multiple, but diverging correct answers. None of the responses posted are wrong and they do answer the question. However, because your question is so unspecific and incomplete, the gaming builds posted have different performance baselines and their prices range from $500 to $1500.

What exactly was the thought in your head that you want answered?

These are my specs

8 GB ram
Intel g3258 @ 3.2ghz *Overclockable*
Nvidia 750ti
1 TB HDD

I get good FPS most games, so i consider this PC a entry level gaming PC for now
