Reasons iTunes is better than other media organizers:
-It overrides the album art thumbnails that the computer tries to force. No other program I've found has been able to do that, so with those I get stuck with 220x220 art
-You can edit groups of songs at a time, just click, hold shift, and click on another item
-It's user friendly compared to the other programs
Trust me, I hate iTunes, I hate Apple, and I hate Macs, but iTunes is still the best media organizer. Which is freaking sad.
There's a program named TuneUp that i used a few years back, if it's still around. Pretty good to clean up ID3 tags and stuff.
Its not good if you gotta pay for it.
.....and that would be easier than doing all of that from within itunes because...?
That's a terrific question.
Remove the songs, albums, or artist albums from iTunes. Select all the mp3s in the folder you're using, right click them, select properties, and go to details. You can change things like album name, album artist, year etcetc. Then just re-add them to iTunes.
What does that even mean? iTunes was made to be the organizer as far as l know.
For one thing, you can select multiple songs by holding down Shift or CTRL; and you can sort your songs by a ton of variables.
Can you be more specific?
