Replies PwnerCookie: 120: laser 1, tank 1, extreme mech 1
then you get extreme mech to 29 then you max laser then you max tank then you max robot mastert then you max the Amp then you max maple warrior, or bots n tots extreme mech is basically the 5 cannons attack? What about 1 on the ultimate skill
YouAzle: Extreme mech is just a passive buff prototype, it increases your mastery and gives you extra attack but it doesn't have any active features. Tank mode is the one you're thinking of, where your basic attack fires six missiles and becomes your main 1v1 skill (along with siege). Here's the build I followed:
120: 1 tank mode, 1 laser, 1 extreme mech 121: 1 bots n tots, 1 giant robot, 1 extreme mech get 29 extreme mech max laser max tank mode max amp max robot mastery Throw in 9 MW sometime in there and everything else is up to you. Extreme mech is the most important because it will increase your damage passively (plus you don't have to buy skill books for it), laser blast is your mob skill so go ahead and max that next, then max tank mode to increase your 1v1 dpm and lower your mp usage, amp is probably your best robot (especially at bosses) so max it next, and finally robot mastery will increase the damage and summon duration of all your robots
DjFunky: lvl 29 extreme mech already gives 40 atk and 70 mastery, so putting it up to lvl 30 will only give you an extra 20 def and 20 HP/MP
LampShadow: thnx dude ,cool looking mech. How is bots n tots used ?
Bots n tots is useless. I never used it, since it is so weak at level 1. Just a waste of a skill point. Giant robot is also useless. Don't get it, unless you want to waste your skill point. Bots n tots makes a small factory which releases robots that explode hurting the enemy.
I'm a level 168 mech, and I never used Bots n tots still it got to lvl 8+, and I have never, and will never use the giant robot. It's too weak, and is useless against LHC mobs. YouAzle: LampShadow: thnx dude ,cool looking mech. How is bots n tots used ?
Well, bots n tots is just a robot you summon that will spawn little robots to attack nearby monsters. That means you can run off to other areas of the map and let your bots n tots handle that part (it's a lot like rock n shock, except easier to set up). At LHC and other training spots, just set it up on a platform you know has a lot of spawn. Or at LHC just run up into a mob and it in the middle of them. I like to use bots n tots in combination with rock n shock too, so what I'll usually do is set up rock n shock on a level platform and place bots n tots in the middle. Rock n shock will stun/knock back the monsters which keeps them stuck in place, and the bots will run out and attack them. If you're at LHC use this combination at the bottom level, then rush the monsters into the rock n shock field and stand off to the side using laser blast on them. The summons will really add to your damage over time And in bossing, you'll just want to summon the bots on or right next to the boss. That way most of the little bots hit the boss and when the bigger summon explodes it will damage the boss too. In pvp you should always use bots n tots, even at lvl 1. Summon the bots right where people normally mob up to fight, then stand off to the side and snipe. Oh yeah, the little bots that are summoned can hit multiple monsters when they explode. So any monsters in the area will be damaged (and this includes multiple players in pvp)
LampShadow: Oh thanks dude, hey i added 1 AMP. Is that good idea? Should i leave Bots n tots at 1 for now? I got 29 Ex mech. 10 Lasor, 10 missletank... cant find books for missletank Might have to OWL.
pwnercookie: well its just a couple pts, always fun to use an ultimate and also summon mini robos haha
YouAzle: lvl 1 amp isn't really worth it. It's only adds 1% to your damage and has a short summon duration/long cooldown. I wouldn't recommend using amp until you have it at lvl 5 or higher. And yeah, don't bother putting any more points into bots and tots until after you have tank/laser/amp maxed. Bots n tots has some uses, but it's not as important as those other skills. I bought all of my books here on Basil, if you can't find them immediately then just save up your points. It doesn't really matter whether you max tank or laser first, for most mechs it's a matter of book availability.
LampShadow: aw man 1 AMP was bad idea? bid deal or no

Also, what is the main attack skills used during training at LHC/Mob areas etc? Lazor seems good for mobbing but I saw a video on a 4th job mech and he uses some tank mode and a skill that looked like Battleship cannon...is that maxed ASAP or lazor?
Thanks.
