A Buccaneer's Guide to the Maple World.
MapleStory Forums : Brawler, Marauder, Buccaneer : Talk about the Brawler, Marauder and Buccaneer classes Thread starter
Alright, so we all know that Shikage's guide recently got taken down.
Since there's no official one, I thought I might as well make my own and put it here. Please remember, it's a guide. You do not have to follow it word for word, and to be a unique mapler is great. Changelog January 4, 2009 - Expert's Notes added, some minor edits, 4th job build changes, adding transform build. January 1, 2009! - 4th job build added. Experimental. December 31, 2008 - Added Table o' Contents December 30, 2008 - Published Minor typos fixed, added minor training guide (Thanks HolyMythos). Added a basic equips outline and pots info. Major edits to the first 3rd job build to bring Shockwave to 21, then start getting transform. Added description of each skill before each skillbuild so I don't have to tell you in description. TABLE OF CONTENTS 1) Beginner's Crawl 2) A Pirate's Life 3) The Infighter's Journey 4) Marauder's Challenge 5) A Buccaneer's Treasure 6) Ye Secret Treasure FAQ 7) Argh... Training Guide 8) Ahoy, Credits 9) Other Useful Links... matey Beginner's Crawl At level 1, you will be sent to maple island. Simply do the quests and you should be sent directly to level 10. Not very hard, eh? But if you want to know what I did for my beginner's skill build, here. Level 2: +1 Nimble Feet (1) Level 3: +1 Nimble Feet (2) Level 4: +1 Nimble Feet (3) Level 5: +1 Recovery (1) Level 6: +1 Recovery (2) Level 7: +1 Recovery (3) Nimble Feet is the ultimate beginner skill. I love it. I used it all the way until I got my hog (today, woo!). Basically, it gives +20% Speed for about 12 seconds, with a 1 minute cooldown. It's great for little speedboosts etc. Recovery is good for low levels who want to save a little on pots. 3 Snails is not that great because you rarely will be carrying a ton of snail shells along with you anyway x_x TakeBacker: 3 snails is amazing for killing well on maple island, but i'm the only one who actually trains on maple island anyway. I hate most quests. >_> :D NOTE: Make sure you have at least 20 dex by level 10 to properly do the Pirate job advance. A Pirate's Life So you're level 10. Head to Nautilus Port and go in the big sub. Go to the right until you see the portal with a big Arrow, and go in. Keep going left until you see the guy in a blue bandanna, and go in the portal the the left of him. There, you should see Kyrin. Talk to her, and if you have 20 dex (like you should), she will immediately make you a pirate! Congratulations! Now, onto skills. Bullet Time increases your acc and avoid (by 20 each at max). Flash Fist is a extremely fast fist attack that does 270% damage at max. Very great in use with combos. Somersault Kick is one of the coolest skills you will have. It flips you around to do 190% damage to six monsters. Meaning yes, you have a great mob move, usable all the way to 4th job for training. Dash increases your speed by 30% and jump by 10% for a few seconds. It seems viable at first, but we'll have to see about that. Double Shot is a gunslinger skill - it's only usable with a gun equipped :P Level 10: +1 Somersault Kick (1) Level 11: +3 Somersault Kick (4) Level 12: +3 Somersault Kick (7) Level 13: +3 Somersault Kick (10) Level 14: +3 Somersault Kick (13) Level 15: +3 Somersault Kick (16) Level 16: +3 Somersault Kick (19) Level 17: +1 Somersault Kick (20) +2 Bullet Time (2) [Max Somersault Kick] Level 18: +3 Bullet Time (5) Level 19: +3 Bullet Time (8) Level 20: +3 Bullet Time (11) Level 21: +3 Bullet Time (14) Level 22: +3 Bullet Time (17) Level 23: +3 Bullet Time (20) [Max Bullet Time] Level 24: +3 Flash Fist (3) Level 25: +3 Flash Fist (6) Level 26: +3 Flash Fist (9) Level 27: +3 Flash Fist (12) Level 28: +3 Flash Fist (15) Level 29: +3 Flash Fist (18) Level 30: +2 Flash Fist (20) +1 Double Fire (1) [Max Flash Fist] ** End skills: - Max Somersault Kick - Max Bullet Time - Max Flash Fist - 1 Double shot The reasoning behind this build is simple. Somersault kick is one of the greatest skills you have in your arsenal, and usable until (and maybe during) 4th job. It's great, and amazing for training. Get that first. Bullet Time will greatly increase your accuracy and avoid, which is one of the pirate's most stubborn foes. You'll find that you might be missing before you get this - this should help a lot. Finally, Flash Fist. A great skill that, at max, gives a whopping amount of damage. But what's really great about this skill is it's spammability. No joke, Flash Fist! Now, may you ask, why did I put the last point in double shot? Because 1 in dash is simply not worth it. If you accidentally initiate it (it's used by double tapping the arrow keys in the direction you want), you may get hurled into monsters. More info on why you don't get 1 point/max dash here. The Infighter's Journey Go back to Nautilus Port and talk to Kyrin again. She'll ask you if you want to be a Infighter or Slinger, obviously you should pick Infighter. Talk to her again and click the bottom option (something like "take me to the battleground") and you'll be warped to a map with octopuses. Use Flash Fist to kill them. Note that any other attack will NOT do any damage on them, it will simply miss. After killing them all and collecting the marbles, talk to her inside that map. You'll get warped out. Talk to her again, and you'll finally be an infighter. Congratulations! An Infighters Skillbuild: Improving Max HP Increase increases the amount of HP you get from each level up. Self explanatory. Knuckle Mastery gives ACC bonuses and raises your minimum damage by a % of your max. At max, it's 60% Mastery, +20 acc. Knuckle Booster increases the speed of your knuckle attacks. Very useful, at max lasting 200 seconds (but it is no faster than level 1.) Backspin Blow is an attack that involves you sticking your elbow out and flinging yourself backwards to hit 3 monsters for 240% damage (at max). It also stuns. Double Uppercut is a single target skill that does 290% twice (on one monster, at max), a very powerful double jab. It also stuns. Corkscrew Blow is a move that is kind of like a 4th job Warrior's Rush. It sends you flying to hit 3 monsters. The catch is that you have to charge it to do more damage (420% if you fully charge it, at max). MP Recovery consumes 10% of your maxHP and makes it MP. Oak Barrel is a "dark sight" like skill, except with a fail rate. You can't attack while in barrel, and at max has a 10% chance to break (and you take damage). Level 30: +1 Max HP Increase (1) Level 31: +3 Max HP Increase (4) Level 32: +3 Max HP Increase (7) Level 33: +3 Max HP Increase (10) [Max Max HP Increased] Level 34: +1 Backspin Blow (1), +1 Corkscrew Punch (1), +1 Knuckle Mastery (1) Level 35: +3 Knuckle Mastery (4) Level 36: +1 Knuckle Mastery (5), +2 Knuckle Booster (2) Level 37: +3 Knuckle Booster (5) Level 38: +1 Knuckle Booster (6), +2 Mastery (7) [1 minute lasting Knuckle Booster] Level 39: +3 Knuckle Mastery (10) Level 40: +3 Knuckle Mastery (13) Level 41: +3 Knuckle Mastery (16) Level 42: +3 Knuckle Mastery (19) [Best %Mastery possible] Level 43: +3 Corkscrew Punch (4) Level 44: +3 Corkscrew Punch (7) Level 45: +3 Corkscrew Punch (10) Level 46: +3 Corkscrew Punch (13) Level 47: +3 Corkscrew Punch (16) Level 48: +3 Corkscrew Punch (19) Level 49: +1 Corkscrew Punch (20), + 2 Backspin Blow (3) [Max Corkscrew Punch] Level 50: +3 Backspin Blow (6) Level 51: +3 Backspin Blow (9) Level 52: +3 Backspin Blow (12) Level 53: +3 Backspin Blow (15) Level 54: +3 Backspin Blow (18) Level 55: +2 Backspin Blow (20), +1 Double Uppercut (1) [Max Backspin Blow] Level 56: +3 Double Uppercut (4) Level 57: +3 Double Uppercut (7) Level 58: +3 Double Uppercut (10) Level 59: +3 Double Uppercut (13) Level 60: +3 Double Uppercut (16) Level 61: +3 Double Uppercut (19) Level 62: +1 Double Uppercut (20), +2 Booster (8) [Max Double Uppercut] Level 63: +3 Booster (11) Level 64: +3 Booster (14) Level 65: +3 Booster (17) Level 66: +3 Booster (20) [Max Booster] Level 67: +3 MP Recovery (3) Level 68: +3 MP Recovery (6) Level 69: +3 MP Recovery (9) Level 70: +1 MP Recovery (10), +1 Knuckle Mastery (20), +1 Oak Barrel [Max MP Recovery][Max Knuckle Mastery] ** End skills: - Max Max HP Increase - Max Mastery - Max Booster - Max Corkscrew Blow - Max Backspin Blow - Max Double Uppercut - Max MP Recovery - 1 Oak Barrel Now, we all know that 2nd job has a ton of new skills for us to use. Which is great. However, this makes it hard to make a skill build that get's the greatest potential the fastest. I tried to get in each skill by terms of usefulness from when I was a growing infighter. First, you must get Max HP Increasing. The later you do it, the less HP you will end up with. This is obvious. Second, Knuckle Booster will help your grinding a lot. However, it requires 5 Knuckle Mastery. Which isn't bad, since mastery is really great (it increases your minimum damage, therefore increasing your average damage a lot. It's great, and you probably noticed your ranges were really wide anyway). So you get 5 mastery, then 6 booster. Fine. Now, you want to complete mastery. Get it to 19. Why 19? Because level 20 does not give any more Mastery%, but simply an acc bonus. Put that off 'till later. Now, Corkscrew Blow. One of the greatest moves you'll have. You're probably wondering "HOW DOES CHARGE WORK?". I'll explain. You need to charge up Corkscrew. You hold the button down and a little bar will appear over your head. Depending on how high you charge it, it will do more or less damage. Spamming it will do really little damage, holding it until the bar is full will do 420%, and the middle will do varying depending on how high. After that, Backspin blow. This is good especially at MP3, where you will be training when you are maxing that. It doesn't require charging but it does have a little delay (meaning you can't spam it). It's just awesome to watch. :3 Plus, it stuns, which will help later. Double Uppercut is next. Why so late? It's super powerful. So why are you maxing so late? Because at these levels, and your whole infighter career, you are mobbing. You do not need a single attack skill like DU, and you don't even have stun mastery so the stun barely helps. The delay makes it as slow as 2 flash fists, with only a bit more damage than those two flash fists. So it's eh. It's greater in 3rd/4th job, when you are doing combos and you can fit it in there. Anyway, yes, this is not a bad skill, just not necessary early 2nd job. Max booster, so it gets a longer cooldown, but it actually doesn't get any faster (which is why it's not necessary till later). MP Recovery is not really necessary in 2nd job. The reason you get it over Oak or dash, however, is because in 3rd, if you get Energy Drain, you can use that and MP Recovery to recover a LOT of HP and MP, saving some pots. It's really useful. Last point in oak barrel, not in dash for same reasons. Oak barrel at level 1 is really bad anyway, I don't even put it on my keyboard, the reason being that it has a fail rate (it's supposed to act like a dark sight for pirates), meaning that even if you are in the barrel, a monster can still hit you with a certain chance (35~% at level 1, 10% at max). Therefore, it's meh. The Expert's Opinions: TakeBacker: The DU after backspin is optional. I got DU before backspin. DU helps with mobs that have a decent amount of HP that are left after a good mobbing with SSK. Comes in mighty handy at C-2 (yes, i still train there at 62). Level 1 backspin does it's job. It mobs monsters. It's range doesn't increase like CSB, and it doesn't hit more monsters. Only the damage increases. TakeBacker: Getting 1 backspin before HP increase only means you lose out on 20ish HP, while gaining a much needed training boost. It's confirmed you lose 12 HP. Congratulations on 70, by the way! Marauder's Challenge Wow, great job. You've finally hit 70. It's been a long trek, hasn't it? Be grateful you have so many great training places nowadays (whippersnappers mumble mumble). Now, on to getting Marauder. Go to El Nath. Go into the big building, and talk to the Pirate Instructor, Pedro. He will tell you to head to Kyrin to get a Necklace of Strength. Go back to Nautilus (ew, orbis ride), and talk to her. She will tell you that to get the necklace, you need to get a dark matter from her evil clone, only obtainable by defeating it in battle. Go to Evil Eye Cave II and talk to the Door of Dimension. The battle isn't too tough. It took me 60 seconds with no attack pots. Collect the piece (it might have dropped behind the rocks if you don't see it, so make sure you check there). Go back to Kyrin to get the necklace. Go back to Pedro (>_>) and talk to him. He'll tell you you just need to do one more thing to get 3rd job. The Knowledge Test! Before you go to the stone to take it, bring a Dark Crystal (it's a super pointy, large crystal. It goes for about 3 million mesos in the FM. It is NOT black crystal.) You need that to take the test. Note that if you fail the test, you'll need another crystal. Head off to Sharp Cliff II and go into the door near the top of the map. It's hidden to the right a little. Talk to the big stone. It will start asking you questions. Most of the answers are Here. However, 1 or 2 aren't. If you get a question not there, use hidden-street.net to get the answers. After getting the necklace of wisdom, head back to Pedro. Congratulations, you are now a Marauder! Now, you are 3rd job. Notice all the skills. Transform, Shockwave, Stun Mastery, Energy Charge, Energy Blast, and Energy Drain. Transform turns you into a super saiyan like character. It gives full haste, added wdef and mdef, and let's you use shockwave. Note that this transform does not let you use any 1st/2nd job skills except booster (right now.) Shockwave is a skill you can only use while in Transform. It does 700% damage at max, but it's very slow. Booster does not help much. However, 700% sure is a lot :D Stun Mastery is not what you would expect. Basically what it does is if you have points in it, you have a chance to do critical damage to a monster. At max, there's a 60% chance to do 60% more damage. That's quite a high chance, but significantly lower added damage than some classes (sin, bowman, etc). Energy Charge basically makes a little bar come on your screen. It charges as you attack monsters, and when the bar gets full, you get a little energy bubble around you. The bubble gives +watk, a powerguard effect (up to 200% damage at max), +acc/avoid, and a stance effect (with a probability). But the best part is it allows you to use Energy attacks (Energy Blast and Energy Drain). You cannot use those when you are not charged up. Energy Blast is a mob attack. At max it does 420% damage to 4 enemies, and it's almost spammable (it has a slight delay, where you can just put a SSK). It's very powerful, and great for gobying. Energy Drain is possibly a Marauder's most interesting skill. It does 360% damage to 1 enemy, but the catch is that it returns 20% of the damage you did as HP to you! That's right, it's like a sin's drain, it gives you back HP! But what's really amazing about it is how fast you can cast it. It's faster than flash fist, and it's also slightly ranged. And to top it all off, like all energy attacks, it takes NO MP! (I'm thinking awesome Mp recov + drain potential, eh? :D) Now there are multiple builds you can chase. 1) Energy Build (Maxing Shockwave) by me, hybrid of Loose's build 2) Energy Build (Maxing Drain) by Loose] 3) Stun Mastery / Shockwave build by Shikage Energy Build (Maxing Shockwave) Huge credits to Loose, I based this build off his. You want to train through 3rd job as effectively as possible. This is possible using Energy Blast at gobies during 9x. This will give you amazing EXP all the way up to 10x~11x. It's amazing. The reason for getting 11 drain is because drain is, arguably, not a main attack skill. You may or may not use it very often. But the biggest thing is this: Leaving 9 points out of shockwave will cause it to lose 135% damage, while leaving 9 points out of drain will take away 45% damage. I think it's okay to sacrifice those few points for a major mobbing skill that will be very good when you get speed infusion. 2) Energy Build (Max Drain) http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/872396/3 ** End skills: - Max Stun Mastery - Max Energy Charge - Max Energy Blast - Max Transformation - 21 Shockwave - Max Energy Drain Reasons for this build are the same as the first build. The only difference is that you max drain instead of Shockwave. This is for you if you really enjoy drain and don't mind the loss of damage in shockwave. It's all up to your playing style. 3) Stun Mastery / Shockwave build ~Still getting permissions~ Transform Build x3Ren: Level 70 - 1 Transform Level 71 - 2 Transform 1 Shockwave Level 72 - 2 Transform 1 Shockwave Level 73 - 2 Transform 1 Shockwave Level 74 - 2 Transform 1 Shockwave Level 75 - 2 Transform 1 Shockwave Level 76 - 2 Transform 1 Shockwave Level 77 - 2 Transform 1 Shockwave Level 78 - 2 Transform 1 Shockwave Level 79 - 2 Transform 1 Shockwave Level 80 - 1 Transform 2 Shockwave Level 81 - 2 Shockwave 1 Energy Charge Level 82 - 2 Shockwave 1 Energy Charge Level 83 - 2 Shockwave 1 Energy Charge Level 84 - 2 Shockwave 1 Energy Charge Level 85 - 2 Shockwave 1 Energy Charge Level 86 - 2 Shockwave 1 Energy Charge Level 87 - 2 Shockwave 1 Energy Charge Level 88 - 2 Shockwave 1 Energy Charge Level 89 - 2 Shockwave 1 energy Charge Level 90 - 1 Shockwave 2 Energy Charge [Shockwave Maxed] Level 91 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Drain Level 92 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Drain Level 93 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Drain Level 94 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Drain Level 95 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Drain Level 96 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Drain Level 97 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Drain Level 98 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Drain Level 99 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Drain Level 100 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Drain Level 101 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Drain [Leave Energy Drain at 11] Level 102 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Blast Level 103 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Blast Level 104 - 2 Energy Charge 1 Energy Blast Level 105 - 1 Energy Charge 2 Energy Charge [Energy Charge Maxed] Level 106 - 2 Energy Blast 1 Stun Mastery Level 107 - 2 Energy Blast 1 Stun Mastery Level 108 - 2 Energy Blast 1 Stun Mastery Level 109 - 2 Energy Blast 1 Stun Mastery Level 110 - 2 Energy Blast 1 Stun Mastery Level 111 - 2 Energy Blast 1 Stun Mastery Level 112 - 2 Energy Blast 1 Stun Mastery Level 113 - 2 Energy Blast 1 Stun Mastery Level 114 - 2 Energy Blast 1 Stun Mastery Level 115 - 2 Energy Blast 1 Stun Mastery Level 116 - 2 Energy Blast 1 Stun Mastery Level 117 - 2 Energy Blast 1 Stun Mastery Level 118 - 1 Energy Blast 2 Stun Mastery [Energy Blast Maxed] Level 119 - 3 Stun Mastery Level 120 - 3 Stun Mastery [Stun Mastery Maxed] - Max Transform - Max Shockwave - Max Energy Blast - 11 Energy Drain - Max Energy Blast - Max Stun Mastery x3Ren Says: It's really a big pot burning build but fast at leveling in a way. Not fast but easy..maybe fast in a way. At level 90, your damage range should be 14xx - 26xx, if you're heavily funded and I know I am. :] So you'll be doing 96xx - 182xx damage each shockwave. And that's without any buffs. It's good for training at Hime. Especially if you have a apple. Why I made this build? I think it's easier leveling from to 90 even though I'm getting a leech but this build will help you train easier til level 120. :] Because those levels are stressing. ><" And it's also fun seeing high damage. :D Like it makes you go wow... and basically, I'm just taking advantage of Shockwave's high damage percentage. Energy drain is used early to save on pots. :] It goes good with Mp Recovery. While waiting for Transform to be used again, during hime and all. You can spam corkscrew, like not spam but take advantage of the invincibility to repeatedly use corkscrew without getting hurt. After 2 minutes, use transform again. A Buccaneers Treasures Okay. First of all, amazing job. If you're not a leecher or hacker, this is a great accomplishment. If you are, Anyway, Fourth job is special because... it's the most changeable. Builds can differ entirely because of the user, or their luck with skillbooks, etc etc. Therefore, it is very difficult to add a skillbuild the same way that I have for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd job. Therefore, this build is highly experimental. This is not for sure the best build, I doubt it is, but I'm still trying it out anyways. 120: +1 Dragon Strike (1), +1 Wind Booster (1), +1 Barrage (1) 121: +1 Time Leap (1), +2 Barrage (3) 122: +2 Dragon Strike (3), +1 Barrage (4) 123: +2 Dragon Strike (5), +1 Barrage (5) 124: +2 Dragon Strike (7), +1 Barrage (6) 125: +2 Dragon Strike (9), +1 Barrage (7) 126: +2 Dragon Strike (11), +1 Barrage (8) 127: +2 Dragon Strike (13), +1 Barrage (9) 128: +2 Dragon Strike (15), +1 Barrage (10) 129: +2 Dragon Strike (17), +1 Barrage (11) 130: +2 Dragon Strike (19), +1 Barrage (12) 131: +2 Dragon Strike (21), +1 Barrage (13) 132: +2 Dragon Strike (23), +1 Barrage (14) 133: +2 Dragon Strike (25), +1 Barrage (15) 134: +2 Dragon Strike (27), +1 Barrage (16) 135: +2 Dragon Strike (29), +1 Barrage (17) 136: +1 Dragon Strike (30), +2 Barrage (19) [Max Dragon Strike] 137: +3 Barrage (22) 138: +3 Barrage (25) 139: +3 Barrage (28) 140: +2 Barrage (30), +1 S.Transformation (1) [Max Barrage] 141: +2 S.Transformation (3), +1 Demolition (1) 142: +2 S.Transformation (5), +1 Demolition (2) 143: +2 S.Transformation (7), +1 Demolition (3) 144: +2 S.Transformation (9), +2 Demolition (4) 145: +1 S.Transformation (10), +2 Demolition (6) [S.Tran Cooldown less than Transformation] 146: +1 S.Transformation (11), +2 Demolition (8) 147: +1 S.Transformation (12), +2 Demolition (10) 148: +1 S.Transformation (13), +2 Demolition (12) 149: +1 S.Transformation (14), +2 Demolition (14) 150: +1 S.Transformation (15), +2 Demolition (16) 151: +1 S.Transformation (16), +2 Demolition (18) 152: +1 S.Transformation (17), +2 Demolition (20) 153: +1 S.Transformation (18), +2 Demolition (22) 154: +1 S.Transformation (19), +2 Demolition (24) 155: +1 S. Ye Secret Treasure FAQ 1) Make sure you look at the thread by Takeback3r AND KazooTheBat :D Pirate Misconceptions Thread It answers a lot of questions. 2) Should I max Shockwave, Drain, or Blast? Look at This thread to see some basic calculations if you are still unsure. 3) What is the recommended AP build? You can do whatever you want, but the normal build will be DEX = current level, Rest in STR. Variations include: Lowdex, where you cap your dex at 20~40, and use equips to get the rest of the dex (like a 10 dex sauna, etc etc) Full dex (no str), very funny and challenging build 4) What equips should I wear? Overall: If you are normal dex (Base dex = level), wear the normal pirate overall you can wear and scroll it for dex (100% dex scrolls are only 350K for 10 of them, but if you want to take the chance with 10/30/60/70%s, go ahead!) for some acc, although that's not really necessary. For lowdex, get a good sauna (20 dex would be IDEAL.) Cape: a Pink Adventurer Cape is great. If you are normal dex, scroll it for strength. If you are lowdex, scroll it for dex. Hat: Zhelms are amazing + 15 str and +15 dex, good for any build. Glove: Work gloves are the most common gloves, scrolled for attack. A good goal would be 10 attack, but that is very expensive. You can get a 5 attack glove easily, for only a few million mesos. Shoes: This is difficult. Facestompers, the only shoes to give watk, are amazingly expensive. Therefore, you may want to take the alternative of buying dex shoes with no attack if you are lowdex. Purple Snowshoes are great for lowdex, but you can try to scroll your own actual pirate shoes if you are normal dex. Pendants: Get a spiegelmanns necklace from CPQ when you can. Later, you can try to get a Deputy Star from the NLC quest from lita lawless. It is very difficult (you need to kill a bigfoot, a powerful boss) so you may not be able to. However, dep stars give +5 to all stats so it's very good. Obviously, when you get super high level, a horntail pendant will be the best. Earring: low dex or normal dex can scroll this for dex, however the scrolls are very expensive and ONLY 30/70%s exist, meaning there's a chance to break it with every scroll. You may want to buy one prescrolled, lower dex ones are not that expensive Knuckle: I would suggest 100%'ding every knuckle you get until level 60 or 70 if you can get a level 70 knuckle. At level 80, try 60%'ing it, and at level 90 you're gonna wanna try to get as good as you can, trying a 30% or two on the first few slots. Good luck with that :P Face Accessory: For your face, branch noses or racoon masks or rat faces are VERY EXPENSIVE but can be scrolled for strength or dex. If you have the money, go for it. To put it best, I'd like to take TakeBackers words. TakeBacker: Get the highest amount of attack power possible, while getting the most + stats out of your other gear 5) What pots should I use? At low levels, use white pots and blue pots. When you get high enough level though, you're going to want to get the NLC pots: Barbarian Elixer and Sorcerer's Elixer. They heal 1500 HP / 1500 MP respectively, and only cost 1.5k each. This is very cheap for pots that heal that much. As soon as you get more than 1000 HP or MP, they are more cost effective than any other pots you can get at that level. In terms of watk pots, if you are poor, the Ludibrium +5 atk warrior pills are great. I'd suggest using them from 50+. If you are a little richer, especially since MP3 gives great mesos, the +12 attack warrior potions from NLC are amazing. HolyMythos: One last thing. Speed potions can be purchased in Ludibirium for 500 mesos a piece, and they last 10 minutes. 50k will give you 100, which will supply you with 17 hours worth. They give you a +10 speed boost. It may not seem like much, but when the max speed is 140 and you've moved from your normal 100 to 110, you've just cut your max speed by a fourth. It'll definitely speed up your training, and you'll notice the difference. 6) I want to be dexless! What do I do? All your questions will be answered here :D Argh... Training Guide Work in progress. thank u very much for the guide... its awesome but i need to ask u.... if i am going dexless do i have to have to wear dex equips ?
alihossam: thank u very much for the guide... its awesome but i need to ask u.... if i am going dexless do i have to have to wear dex equips ? Yeah, in fact, that's more of a reason to do so. If ur dexless, ur gunna need a lot of dex equips to make up for it so u can still hit on monsters nd use good knuckles. gl with ur brawler ;] Hi 2 questions: CD on barrige? or tat move tat hits 8 times demolition
and also , energy charge, takes around how long? or how many hits to charge it up? ( cuz it gives 20 accuracy and 20 avoid and 20 atk tats gosu) XD overall ! WELL WRITTEN! GJGJG tyty isnt it outdated now? since Maple Hero can go up to 30, you need to change the 4th job skill distribution
wats norm dex and low dex? i cant seem to find wat dex i need for my brawler
EDIT: nvm its in pirate database 2.0 i think Talby08: whens a good time to cap dex? You will want to cap your dex at 120 if you are a normal dex brawler, And if you're well funded I'd say 30-40 dex for a low dex brawler, If you're not too well funded I'd say cap it at 60-70. I like the hybrid build. You only level up energy burst up to level 11, but you max Energy Charge along with Xformation and Shockwave. The damage is freaking incredible. I personally use Xform right before I see my energy charge bar is about to hit full so then I can do upwards of 10k already with shockwave. I think that's just because I use an 18atk Bwg and an 8atk Pac. I need some good facestompers xD thanks for the guide of where i should train,
