You forgot to mention that XboxOne requires you to be online every 24hrs, if you don't check in you have about 1hr to play before your ($500 dollar console) DeadBox becomes inactive. This is the biggest FAILED console to ever hit the game industry and it's not even out yet, so many rules, so many requirements. Microsoft will learn that when it comes to gaming, the "Gamers" are the ones with the last word. We decide what we want to share, we decide when we go online; and in this case...we will decide who becomes the victor! PS4 all the way baby <3
Well it depends on your perspectives. People say that X-Box: ONE is more of a Multimedia device more than gaming. loljk I ain't paying extra just to connect online or other sh!et.
add to the list: apparently, the activation fee for used games will be around 52 bucks link
@Chema: Never said there werent, sorry if I phrased it bad. But there are quite a large amount of RPG's not avilable on PC that are available for console.
I have to admit. PC gaming is the true master race. I have a laptop i am on but it is $300 and it can't run addictinggames without shutting off. PC is truly the way to go if you can afford it. Better than xbox or ps3 is literally every single way except price.
@suckapow Or the mass of RPG games on consoles that arent on PC. That's definitely a reason to play consoles.
There are more rpgs that can be played on PC than any console
It looks like they aimed for a more widespread source of entertainment.. curious to see how this will work out for the console I myself would buy a gaming console that's geared toward gaming, though the extras are still nice.
it was kinda disappointing to me, but i'm looking forward to buy one, i'll jump off the PS3 club and go back to the xbox If E3 is disappointing, i will switch to the PC masterrace also, that new controller looks so comfy and sexy, literally made me wet

Lol wow they looked to make money EVERY single way possible this time. I did not buy a xbox 360 because I wasn't gonna PAY to play online. Which in itself is an absolute retarded concept. I all ready PAY the internet company. Now I need to PAY them to use my internet? I all ready PAYED for their system and game. Fudge that. Anyone who buys the xbox one is an idiot IF this information is true.
Anyways in sticking to ps4 but I wont buy it until a year later when they drop the price by a 100 bucks and I can buy one used.
That one disc-system lock made me so angry. Are you serious Microsoft? I've had Xbox for years now, I've bought games for it, paid for live this entire time and put up with all your crap for all that time because my favorite series, Halo, is Xbox exclusive. And this is your next gen console? I desperately wish more than anything that I can get a PS4, but I'm forced to buy this piece of garbage because Halo 5 and 6 are going to be Xbox exclusive. God, this makes me so angry.
This is like the second thread you've made about the xbox one being bad. We already know its bad. Lol you must be a ps4 kinda person. But yeah ill stick to PC. I feel like the only reason why a majority of people play systems is to play Cod or battlefield.
Let's not forget that XBOX One is not backward-compatible, so all your XBOX 360 games are useless on XBOX One. Didn't know there was a privacy risk too, that's a first.
That didn't stop anyone from purchasing a PS3 after they stopped being backwards compatible.
[i] Xbox is always listening, and watching, even when off Xbox one can be turned on by saying "xbox on". This means it is ALWAYS on, just does not appear to be. the camera is also always on. So I hope you like microsoft listening and watching you.
Well, i'm pretty sure this one can be solved by unplugging the xbox.
'Course not, making the PS4 backwards compatible with PS3, and even PS2 would mean having to put extra hardware in and putting more work into the system just to make that available, which means the price tag would exponentially go up.
You guys all know the story of the first waves of PS3s and how they were the only ones that were fully backwards compatible. That was one of the big reasons why the PS3 was so ridiculously expensive in the beginning. Now, Sony wouldn't want that to happen again would they?
That's why it's all about the PS3, (and now moving on to the PS4) because all Xbox users have failed to see the obviousness of the truth! Sony is way better in every way, so for your sake, it'd be best to come this way and let Microsoft pave the path to its own destruction. <3
Though I probably won't be buying the PS4 anytime soon.
Unless of course a new Armored Core game comes out on that console.
Honestly these sound like bs rumors. I mean the first one is a huge invasion of privacy, so that could potentially cause problems for microsoft. The second one though sounds more believable given how EA was charging for online passes for their games. It's really annoying that they're trying to squeeze money out of things like that. If any of it is true (hoprefully they reveal more at E3) then they are going to lose a lot of customers that's for sure.

I have a xbox 360 and I was looking forward to this alot but this spying and having to pay huge fees just for watching a movie or playing a game is too much. Too bad, the hardware is really good and now it is wasted.

This is pretty ridiculous, but we'll have to see what it's actually like when it comes out.
@LetThereBeFradd: Well the console doesn't work without a kinect, so I'm guessing it's either built in or comes with it.
It is like the kinect now. Comes with it but if you unplug it the xbox juan will freeze.

@iCanRapAndSing: Same thing with Xbox, but looks like you guys are getting screwed with no vaseline! Ouchh..

@darjquill:
@thenutcracker:
don't be surprised, neither the ps4 is bc
its close to impossible to have fully BC, it also would be very expensive
More importantly - no backwards compatibility with games OR controllers/peripherals.
Its a microsoft console, it won't fail.
I meant in terms of sales, but ok
NVM what I said earlier, I read a lot more reviews, and I'm getting Xbox again ^^ ^^
Screw PS4. Some of my friends have PS3 and even they said they're gonna get Xbox One
XBOX One hasn't even been released yet, and i can already see it failing.

Xbox One of a kind.
In stupidity.
