University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

I got accepted to this university and I've made it my firm choice. I already paid the deposit and did the housing application
Anyone goes to this uni? I'd love to make some friends before the fall semester starts.

Irony
@MostSwagNA: You missed out. It's the most affordable of the "best" universities in the country (by contrast, if it were located in Southern Cali, it'd probably be realllly expensive.) MSP area is amazing, so-on-and-so-forth.

OT: I go to a community college in the area. I don't think I'll go to the U of M. We'd still be near each other if you wanna talk about epistemology or semantics.
Then again, the education system in American sucks so it doesn't say much.

@snovvy: sorry to hear that. That sounded like my sophomore year. For me real life problems and health issues overwhelmed me. I wasn't in the right mental or physical state to be there. But it's somewhat better now, hopefully for you too.
I applied there and got in but then I was like "Wait... it's Minnesota - I can't even point out Minnesota on a map."

So close.
Haha, funny, my brother discouraged me from going there because he couldn't point out where MN was on the map either.
The only downfall I see is the crappy weather, I've gotta get accustomed to it after moving from Connecticut.
