Anyone know how to port foward Gms?

I look up the port number for GMS and found many of them and I wasn't sure which one to forward.
Do anyone know the port number for GMS?

Port forwarding has nothing to do with lagging. If your ports were blocked, Maplestory wouldn't run AT ALL.

If there's anyone else in your house using the Internet at the same time you're trying to play Maplestory that's most likely what the cause of any network lag is.
Everyone has to share the same Internet bandwidth and if someone is torrenting or downloading or watching steaming videos or TV or whatever, it's going to slow everything down. Like the others said, if your router has "QoS" (Quality of Service) you can play around with setting Maplestory's priority higher, but that's likely to piss off everyone else in your house.

The most likely reason Maplestory is lagging is Nexon's poor programming of both their game client and their game servers.

@ShiraokaJinja You could also make things like phones, ipods, tablets, etc become lowest priority. We have 15+ devices in my house so I lowered their priorities in addition to raising the TCP ports of more important things. You could ask your dad if he would allow some of your things to be on medium to lowest priority based on how important they are to you. That would allow him to reserve the highest priority for himself while allowing you to have some control over your own devices.

Only useful if you use Quality of Service to make (stuff) to and from Maplestory take higher priority.
Unfortunately for me, dad works from home everyday for AT&T so his corporate (stuff) takes priority.

I use QOS on my router to speed it up. You should see if your router supports it instead of just using port forwarding. It works better for me at least.
Gameplay Ports: TCP 8585-8589
Cash Shop Ports: TCP 8787-8788
Login Port: TCP 8484
I got my info from wikipedia to set it up.

Well it's not suppose to. I'm getting tired being disconnected because my router sometime won't allow MS.

I don't think port forwarding will speed up your connection at all.
