Ps4 or Xbox One?

Xbox One cause of Halo's awesome campaigns.
PS4 has better hardware, and arguably better exclusives. Playstation Plus is also said to be a better deal than xbox gold
PS4. I love everything about it. The controller, the exclusives, the camera and really just what the machine is capable of.
I think the xbox one is great but it's so similar to the xbox 360 that it doesn't really seem like it's worth the extra cash to me.
Ps4.
I want a Xbox One more than PS4. Ideally I'll get both, but right now, Xbox One has more exclusives that I'm looking forward to than PS4 does. Dead Rising 3, Forza 5, Killer Instinct, Ryse, Halo, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, and Titanfall (yes I know this one is also on 360, just saying). So that's a good amount of reasons for me to get Xbox One. Of course, I'm not getting the Xbox One right at launch, but I will get it first. And once I have enough money, I'll definitely get the PS4 as well.
Anyway, I know people keep going on and on about how PS4 is better because it's a stronger console, it has true HD and all that, but the difference isn't really that major. If the only thing you can argue about are the graphics (like with PS3 and 360), then you're really trying to hard to compare. I mean, I grew up on 16bit graphics and the games were just as fun as the pseudo realistic games we have now. I don't like the direction games are going, we've had games with horrible gameplay and super short storylines, that are called great games, simply because of graphics. For me, the graphics should play second fiddle to everything else. Otherwise you're just handed a piece of crap, wrapped in pretty packaging, and that still makes it crap, just... pretty crap.
Amen to that! It's really sad how people focus so much on graphics and having a few more frames per-second than the actual game play and story. It seems so easy to blind people to bad plot and game play with good graphics.
Ive always been an XBOX fan, but seeing how the new one came out doesnt sound hot at all...
I would lean more to the PS4
yet, PC gaming is also another go!
ps4 is better yo
@esteban: I wasn't shoving down your throat. I literally stated the truth, and then I stated the advantage of PS4 and Xbox One. I don't know how I could be more fair, and how that warrants a reaction like that.
dont wanna be spied on, so i pre-ordered PS4
@esteban Though to be honest, pc can be more powerful than a ps4 and xbox one. It just costs way more money to achieve that. Each system has their own merits, be it power, cost, or version exclusives.
Ding ding ding ding we have a weener!
I'm aware of the advantages PC's have... What annoys me is people like you that shove it down other peoples throats that PC is supreme to all, especially when we're strictly talking about consoles, in a consoles thread. Thank you for proving my point.
@zpattack12
He is talking about being able to run multiple things at once on your XBO. Meaning you can surf the internet while playing, or watch TV while playing all on one screen.
Even though I am getting both consoles I plan to mainly use my XBO for these main reasons...
1. I enjoy more of the XBO exclusives more.
2. The game DVR and streaming services are of higher quality. Skype + Twitch = Happy
3. Compatibility with my TV provider.
4. I enjoy yelling at my TV with the Kinect.
5. American Company.
Both consoles are so similar in price and hardware I find it hard to believe people are still ranting on how different they are... The only major differences are the games and online services.

Yet its true.

A new record, there hasn't been a "my c0mpu3ter r1g is merch b3tt@r Den jo0 ps4 N xb0x 0nez." Person yet.
I vote PS4, not to mention PSVita compatibility.
@Flexography It was kinda funny, he was talking about how revolutionary some kinda second screen gaming would be, and how Microsoft was such a genius for coming up with it.
That made me laugh so much. For one, the first second screen thing was done back in 2004 with the DS by Nintendo, and the Xbox One wouldn't even be the first home console to do it. Wii U much?

@Flexography There's this one guy in my game design class who is so addicted to halo, he's getting an xbox one. Infact, he likes windows not because of the fact its better, but because its Microsoft. He also got a Windows phone, just because he likes Halo that much. It makes me cry on the inside.
I'm gonna have to say PS4, and I'm and Xbox guy lol. My 360 is just fine and overall I'm not all that impressed with the Xbox One. With the PS4, you'll have more variety and I don't need another xbox system anyways
