How do dbs rank against other classes now?
Hey guys it's been a while since I've played maple
my primary class is a db and I was wondering how we rank against other classes/thieves now, after the RED update and everything.

omg, stop comparing a shield to a katara. u are comparing a shield to a secondary weapon. of course it might seem the katara's better due to it being a weapon, but the SHIELDS are meant to be for shadowers while KATARAS are meant to be for dbs.
and with ur range, u are better off as a shadower.
@marshmallows I thought that the zero thing was funny too xD but you have to keep in mind it's theoretical dps, and since zeros have so many things that can change (that I still don't properly understand) it's actually a much lower value. They're definitely in the top 5 still though xD
Db are very fun imo, Grimm covered most of it- all I'm gonna say is our current mobbing is very lackluster, but the revamp makes blade fury GORGEOUS, and it gets hypers (and a larger physical range? ) It's a solid class for sure, and it always will be <3
DBs are still above average now actually, but not to an unfair degree. Asura still makes them powerful as hell. Here you go:
It's amazing how Zero's have 2x the DPS of the 1st place spot, and 5x the DPS of DBs

Currently we're kinda low. But that's because we haven't received our revamp yet. Once the 4th patch of RED comes we'll get a faster PB (720 ms), reskinned PB and BF, a new skill that's an ascension skill (jump into the air when using the skill) and 10% passive damage from Blade Clone and 10% damage from Flashbang. Plus, the new Sweet-water equips (not TOO hard to get but not the easiest obviously) have a Katara that gives 30% boss and 10% PDR like the Fafnir Dagger does. So all in all I would stick with DB because it's always gonna be the best IMO due to our fast attacking speed, number of lines, potential to do a lot of damage, and asura ofc. <3
