Drk or Hero?

I'm having a dilemma on which class I should use, right now I have a DrK but i'm debating on whether to change to a hero.
So far, the only equipment I would have to ditch are:
326 att sweeth2o spear w/ 11 stars - unique 20% boss 7% allstat
Unique berserk chain - 30% boss

I'm wondering if it's worth getting a new weapon and secondary to change to a hero
Pros, cons, and personal experiences please

Surpisingly if you look at the KMS damage chart a full funded Drk is still at the top 10 along with the hero. So its your choice if you want a good mobber and survivability or a mass damage bosser. The hero is worth it at end game tho I doubt I could sit though grinding with the hero.

You know my answer, I would pick Hero. Early you may have an advantage in damage/range but later on I would say Hero's are more efficient.
Mostly your perspective on them both though.

@TheKingslayer:

I actually meant 40 seconds with puncture active in order to deal your most damage. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
Like I said, I won't insult anyone who plays Hero. I suck at it. I don't know why, I have an easier time controlling a DK than a Hero.
okay you've talked me out of it cause I've realised how hard the eyes of gollux is gonna be with a short range
Not just gollux eyes but normal/hard magnus as well as cvellum. Gungirs range advantage on those bosses are extremely helpful.

Oh plus hero chugs mad pots. Not like it matters cus these days bosses give u way more power exilirs than you know what to do with but I just want you to know what you are getting into. On the flipside though, they burn waaaaay less mp than drk.. not like that matters either cus who really cares about mp usage besides mages.
U can cast enrage without any orbs as long as your combo has been toggled. U only need panic once funded enough. Eventually punture becomes useless. You're largely exxagerating saying this all takes 40 seconds when really it takes less than 10. To build faster, stand on boss, more dmg u take faster it builds. U can build the whole thing in like 3 seconds this way.

Most importantly, enrage has no cool down so hero deals far more consistent dmg.

Still though, like I always say, even though hero is slightly stronger. Life as a drk is super ez. Drain, revive, god mode revive, long ranged 1v1 move. These things makes the class very forgiving. U can make as many mistakes as you want and u can always heal yourself or revive yourself. You can dmg bosses from far with gunjir as well. Hero is far more challenging and most don't think its slight dmg advantage is worth it so ill say stay a drk.

U prolly wont like hero, most don't. All u do is use 1 move from lvl 100-250 so think about that before you switch.

Hero just requires a lot of patience man. Patience to get to your good hypers.. patience from learning when to toggle and when not to toggle enrage, patience learning 2 become more skilled cus u kept dying on certain bosses at first. Patience with ur range because it builds a lot slower than most other classes because aca dmg buff isnt shown in your range. Patience that one day maybe nexon will do something better with puncture or give us something other than raging blow or a change in animation or something.. patience....

Oh btw if u switch to hero your range with drop like A LOT.

Having played all three, I'd honestly prefer DK over Hero.
Hero's are cool, and I'm not going to insult anyone who plays one, but it has a really tough set up imo. You have to charge up 10 orbs for ACA, then cast Enrage (1 orb) for Single targetting boss mode, cast Panic( 2 more orbs) and then cast this other skill (I think it's like wounding stab or something) that costs 4 orbs. Then recharge up the rest of your orbs for your full damage for a total of like 40 seconds. Dying is a ridiculous pain because of this.
While Sacrifices cooldown is pretty bad now, it's still convenient imo. Final Pact is also super beneficial anyways, and impales a useable skill. In terms of using your full damage, it's easier to constantly hit your max as a DK and you have a 2nd life.

That's my opinion atleast. Paladins still #1 even with nerf <3 (the .01%)
If you plan to boss and have the mesos, then go for it. If not, stick with batman. Here's a guide for heros

Unfunded = sword and shield because they are cheap

Funded = 2H swords because of multiplier > 1 speed difference

Sold both kidneys, spleen, one eyeball and your mother's wedding ring to hit cap = 1H sword + shield because you're already capping, you get more dps with speed.
