the things people sell here can be obtained quite easily in game. Plus they sell things that close to none-to-low demand. Othertimes people sell total junk and nonsense at dumb prices like mastery books and necro weapons.
Not really anymore. The system is inefficient and a hassle compared to a forum style trading hub. If Basil had a forum page dedicated to trades it'd be infinitely better. Other sites that use the forum system are very active.

Sadly BasilMarket stopped being an Auction site a long time ago. It's mostly a blog for most people nowadays.
I can't brag about my 99% rating if we don't use 3rd party trading sites any more
