Theres actually quite a few, more than other Asian countries anyways. They speak fluent Japanese too which is pretty awesome.

Previous Pokemon games have been set in Japan.
Only Japanese people exist as they are the superior race, in their heads anyway.

i mean the japanese aren't known for great race relations or sexual equality
