Hero

Just need some background info on Heroes

Hey guys!
I'm new to the Hero class, but I plan on making one because it seems fun and I haven't made a Fighter in like 4 years haha That and I've grown bored of my DrK seeing as we got our main attack replaced

Anyways!
I read the guide and did some of my own research, but I still had some questions:

[*]In terms of weapons, what do you guys suggest?
[*]I understand the skill build in 4th job goes something like ACA>IS>CM/AFA? Or am I missing something?

I guess I'm just a little unclear on the weapons so if you could explain that it would be great. I'll have 2-3 b worth of funding to start with, but I can make that multiply if needed.

Thanks in advance

@FuGeeLa: As long as you are getting either the Agares or VIP then no. Any other 1H Axe is normal speed instead of fast like their sword counterparts. Axes are more expensive right now thanks to DS hype however.

@Cthulhusama Thanks for the reply
I think I may be going 1H. Is there a substantial difference between 1H sword and 1H axe?

Your best choice of weapon is either going 1H and picking either Agares 1H sword, VL 1H sword, or VIP 1H sword or you can go 2H and get a nice ST like me. 1H tends to have better DPM but the 2H is a lot cheaper. Both weapon and scrolls plus you don't need to buy a notoriously expensive attack/%str shield. Still 1H + Shield does tend to be better in the long run. I like how 2H look better however but that is asthetic reasons and is subject to my personal bias.

Aso for builds there are actually a number of them for fourth job. The first three skills are always ACA then IS then CM (assuming you can get the books of course). If you want to focus on bossing you can either get Stance to 20, max enrage, max stance or max stance, max enrage or max enrage, max AFA, max stance. If you want to focus on training you should go straight to AFA after CM.
