Actually they nerfed it in that little maintenance, if you also notice things are dropping a lot less, and slightly less spawn.
Basic cores like the herb drops and ores, and equips were pretty much always active for some reason :l
You were killing 2x bro, when the 2x was up it went back to 1x aka half the exp u gained
do people not have any buddies these days to ask these simple questions lol

There was double xp today. Or you might have had a +hp or +level core added and it was used up.
It was 2x when you were getting 10k per kill
