What kind of compensation you guys expectingif at all?
Title. I'm expecting some extra hours of 2x exp ^.^
It's pretty lame though because as soon as I got home is when all this started happening... meaning I couldn't do commerci runs / z runs on secondary char. or any boss runs on main
What are you guys losing out on from this?

True. But remember that 1 month dc hacking in December/ January? Yeah... they should fixed that much sooner, it also seemed as if they were ignoring much of the player base, "Were looking into it", and then they take off the notice and it happens again and again. (they keep looking into it, but not much action was done until much later). And it's not like this is rare thing, this is something that happens quite often... So to be blunt, they're not doing a good enough job. However, I can't really say much since I wouldn't know how to fix it, but as a player/customer... it gets pretty frustrating, especially for those who spend money.
The only compensation I'm expecting is that Nexon decides to fix its servers.
I've tried to download the game over the course of 24 hours repeatedly.
With an Internet connection running consistently at 8 mbps or higher:
- The auto-patcher takes hours to download one MB and doesn't progress after several hours.
- I tried downloading the manual patcher from the website and my browser literally gave up after the ETA went from 17 hours to 3 days.
- I tired running the manual patch through a dedicated HTML download program which told me that it wasn't my browser because it also gave me an ETA of 3 days.
- I tried downloading the game through steam and the ETA is anywhere between 5 hours (which it has been saying for 4 hours) and 6 days.
- I tried redownloading the entire freaking game client through the website and it comes as a 2.4 MB download & installer. [b]2.4 megabytes[/b]. It's been stuck at 0.2MB for 30 minutes already.
- Speed of download from Nexon servers run between 300 Bps and 40 Kbps.
It seems that Nexon has managed to travel back in time and return to before the genesis of the internet, when it could sustain a speed of at least 54 Kbps.

Nope. They should find ways to prevent this from happening, as it as happened many times before.

Exactly how much faster is it? 100% faster?
I wouldn't mind another 2x event this weekend since we actually got character slots
But ultimately, I loved their compensation with the traveling merchant and the portable storage. That was greatttttttttttttttttttt.
*Shudders over the last compensation gift, which was one time-limited Pendant of Spirit IIRC*

Exactly.
Nexon should only give compensation events when they drop the ball, like messing up code for events.

Dupers, caused the downtime. I'm sure Nexon is using this though to fix some of the glitches that were noticed afterwards.
An attendance stamp would be fine for me.
Extension of cash items for the period of downtime.

The fact that they took the games down to fix it should be enough, we already get spoon fed 2x events as it is. Plus every time this sort of thing happens the community hopes and complains that nexon fails yet they're always quick to jump on the compensations.
They really need to fix several bugs going on with familiars, kannas and bam skill points.
I'm not saying that there shouldn't be any compensation when things happen, but when the community wants them to fail but expect compensations is wrong.
The only thing i'll probably lose out on is the black heaven chapters and creating my new mech.

Compensation is usually 2x, so 2x it is.
