So my Wii just Broke
I've had my Wii since about 2008, and it stopped reading discs today. I'm not going to pay $80 to get an "official" Nintendo repair, so I'm stuck on what to do.
Whenever I put in a disc (I'm putting it in the right way, I triple-checked), the Wii makes a lot of clicking noises and some beeps and then can't read the disc. There will be no more Mario Kart or SSBB for a good time until I find a solution

@Momo123: Unfortunately, that item is discontinued (Can't buy it online or in the GameStop in the mall that's nearby)
buy this http://reviews.gamestop.com/9014/74024/reviews.htm i used it and it got out a lot of dust and stuff, guess since I smoke a lot, the particles get trapped in the wii
I haven't played on my Wii since the day I bought it, which was about 5 years ago. o.o
@Theify996: lol it's true, I remember blowing on my old pokemon cartridges and then if that didn't work I would blow on the cartridge slot on the actual game boy. Ah, good times..
This. I found it useless after SSBB

My Wii has been rotting in my basement for a few years.
So your Wii won't work anymore, right?
Precisely.

@KillerCombo: I'm definitely putting the discs in the right way. And this is a problem with all of my Wii games, so it's an internal problem with the Wii, not the discs.
@BladeSoul69: None of the games load / are read by the Wii, so yeah it's pretty much dead to me.
Just buy a wii u
It can play all the wii games plus whatever else will be coming out for it. Wind Waker HD might be nice.
Buy a WiiU, but only if you still have your gamecube(unless of course if you never had one to begin with).
