Basilmarket, I challenge you

I have a challenge for you all.

Pretend I am blind. Obviously I can't be, but just pretend I am. Your challenge is to describe to me what a colour looks like without using it's name or the name of any other colours. If you can do this I will be thoroughly impressed.

Have at it.

If I pretend you are blind, this thread doesn't exist.

Seeing and identifying color is a hard concept to grasp for somebody whos never seen it before. The best way to describe it is an indication and specification of the area of a surface or an object. Color, is what seperates the sections between, on, or around something in the lines of our universe. Close your eyes and feel a glass bottle, and imagine what your holding has this magical mystery called "Clear". Run your fingers along the edges and sides of this object. Whether it be cold, smooth, or sharp can usually dictate what hue it may be. Sharp, smooth and cold suggests glass which is transparent like water. The best way to experience this is with running water in a sink. Now feel running water, your hand can glide in and out of the stream freely giving the illusion that something IS infact there, yet can be phased by just your hand. Now back to the bottle. Your eyes should still be closed at this point and still holding the bottle. You probably see in your mind just a figure, but now compare that to the water and your have more of an understanding of what sight is like. Seeing past objects, such in translucent items. More examples can be formed into colors do to our sense of touch and feel.

That was honestly harder than I thought itd be but i gave it my best shot...
the color you see right now is black
Black: is the absence of colours. Nice try.

Lol this is a clever challenge...I don't know how to make a blind or a hypothetically super color blind (all gray/white/whatever) person perceive color even if we're allowed to use the name of the color in the description (despite it being the wrong way of explaining something).
