Can you be sad at someone/something?

My friend and I have been wondering for a very long time if it is possible to be sad at someone. I know for a fact you can be mad at someone, meaning you're angered by them or what they're doing, so then could you be sad at someone? I tried googling it, and I couldn't come up with anything. So I figured I'd open it up to basil.

What do you think?

@Jrosen & @NeozWarriorx no no, I mean sad at them.

@NekoChan you raise some good points. I think I might start saying it and seeing if it stops feeling weird.
You're mad at someone when they did something that angers you. So when you're sad at someone wouldn't it be they did something that saddens you? Yeah, it's possible, why wouldn't it be?
That's exactly what I'm thinking. But it sounds like you can't say that. Have you ever heard someone say "I'm sad at you"? Even saying aloud to yourself feels weird.
