15 is really quite late if you haven't been in boy scouts before. Honestly at 15 I don't think you could do everything in time, since you age out at 18 It isn't so much hard as it is a lot of work. It's going to take a long time to get to Life, where I am now. Then it's going to take quite a while more to get eagle, especially your project. Sorry, but at 15 I think it's just a bit too late.

just make sure you aren't atheist, agnostic, or homosexual

It took my brother from cub scouts to just before he turned 18 to become an eagle scout. It's helped him land jobs and get into college. It's not too late for you if you participate in every outting and put all your effort into getting patches. It's not gonna be easy, nor the most entertaining period of your life but the beneficial side of it all makes it well worth your time. You just need to apply yourself well.
