@natty
I don't like saving the brown keys for the next day. Sometimes I don't have time to do the runs, so I'll just log on to grab the day's keys and do 6x the next day. If I had saved keys, then I wouldn't be getting all 3. You can save purple keys, so if you fail to kill gollux (edit: or DC, which is more common for me), you can use purple instead.
Your first 3 advantages are still there, and I'm not sure what the advantage is on your 4th one.
i can only do normal once, since i can only kill his head once right?
That's correct.
You can kill his head once per day.

BY THE WAY, I recommend doing it this way:
Day 1: Take keys, and with your VERY FIRST KEY, kill the head. you'll have 2 keys remaining for tommorow.
Day 2: use both keys to farm gollux coins by killing everything BUT the head. Then take the 3 daily keys from the NPC, and just like in day 1, kill the head with the first key, leaving you 2 keys for tommorow.

*Repeat Day 2 every day*

Advantages:
[*] You get to start by farming keys as usual, but if you fail to kill gollux for some reason, you'll still have more keys, for more attempts.
[*] If you killed gollux's head, and you got an extra key, tommorow you'll be able to farm 3 keys TO BEGIN WITH.
[*] You can keep track of your gollux attempts you had that day by the number of keys you have.
[*] Assuming one day you would want to have more keys (emergany?) simply use up the 2 keys you have, and then talk to NPC and farm 2 more runs, AND you'll still be able to kill the head.

If I recall correctly.
For an easy head run, you get 5 coins, for a normal you get 8-13.
dont i get less coins doing normal since im skipping a body part?
No, the head drops more coins on harder difficulties to compensate. Normal mode drops 5-10 IIRC. Hard drops 10-20. Hell can drop upwards of 30

After you kill gollux, he will drop more coins and it varies depending on the difficulty, so you'll actually get more coins

For normal you skip on body part. I'd recommend skipping your left, his right shoulder. That allows you to go up to the 2nd stage via the portal and not worry about his hand.

You are given three keys daily. With the first key, on entering you do abdomen and both left and right shoulders. Similarly with the second key you do the exact same. Finally on the last key (the third key), on entering you kill a certain number of body parts depending on the difficulty you would like to access. Easy - kill all three body parts then kill the head which is now on easy difficulty , Normal- kill two body parts of your choice from the three then kill the head which is now on normal difficulty, Hard- kill one body part of your choice from the three then kill the head which is now on hard difficulty and finally Hell- kill no body parts and then kill the head which is now on hell difficulty.

Goodluck!

You change the difficulty by killing off the right shoulder, left shoulder or the core. The less pieces you kill off the harder the Jaw/Head is.
