From what I've read from posts on here you can replace Boss Souls attached to weapons, but the Boss Soul you're replacing will be lost.

@Lecarde: You can open the book by expanding your Soul Weapon Gauge and clicking on the Soul Collector, and then the red ribbon at the top.
Sorry to steal thread, but what is this book that he is talking about? I have seen people talk about it before, but I don't have one/don't know what it is. Where do you get it? Do you need the book to get a magnificent soul?
you need to get an item to convert your weapon to a soul weapon.
they convert at a rate of 30% and up, and don't blow up ur weapon [nw there].
monsters, such as elite mobs/bosses drop them.
I find a bunch of them at high lvl monsters.
