Do i need to get Power Knockback?

i am currently level 50 on my crossbowman (non UA mind you ) and i have one point in PK and it doesn't help a whole lot. i usually just use it to mess around a little, it seems useless because you can shoot up close now, but then advanced basics seems kinda useless too because i figure that if i max advanced basics last, what's the point of making double shot stronger if i'm only going to replace it with strafe? any help is greatly appreciated, sorry for the long post lol
