At level thirteen, you get three from the Phantom box. At level fifteen, you get the level-up reward.

Anyway, grinding to 30 gets you a free weapon scroll as well, so...

how do you guys get 12 coins from 10-15 i start out with 8 at level 10?

It's easy to do without potions and mesos. What I did wass create the char, skip tut cutscene, and went STRAIGHT to Blue Ribbon Pigs and grind away. I accepted every event quest that came to me until level 15, where I finished the level up event to get my 12th coin. After that I just went back to town, bought the scroll, sold the potions they give you at the start, and put the scroll in storage.

So, the fastest way would be to make a bunch of lvl 15 Jetts and leave them for 3 days?
