Outdated Maple- How to fix?
After installing the game and pressing play, the patcher comes up and immediately gives me the following message: "It appears that this version of MapleStory is outdated and cannot be patched to the current version. Your game client needs to be updated to login to the game. Please visit maplestory.nexon.net and dowload the latest game client.".
I've tried reinstalling and manually patching ('Manual Patch, HackShield Manual Patch, and BlackCipher Manual Patch), but nothing seems to work- the manual patcher gets stuck on 'Creating: Base.wz' and never finishes, and the other manual patch files have no affect when I replace them with the originals.
Any tips on how to get maple working or what I'm doing wrong?

So after deleting everything maple related and restarting my comp, I reinstalled maple. Then I restarted my comp again and tried it out and it works. Gg ty. Still not sure why it wasn't working before (maybe some leftover files)... but whatever. <3
@Twilicious: You know you can skip the intro by clicking or hitting enter right? If you wait until it switches to phantoms face and click you skip the rest of the intro every time. But for some reason I can't get it to skip if I click before that scene (but its only 5 seconds in). Same thing with the nexon and wizet logo, click and you skip them
I got this error message recently, too. (I deleted the Intro.mp4 or whatever it is, because I hate seeing that Shade intro every single time T_T)
I just deleted the entire "NEXON" folder, re-installed, and then it worked just as intended!
Sometimes Nexon forgets to update the game files and you get the error

Hm, should make sure the maplestory in your nexon folder is the correct one, I get this error when I have an older version in my nexon folder from messing around on PS, so just take the maplestory out of nexon folder and delete it and re-download again, do not manual patch. Make sure your maple folder is in the Nexon folder! ^^ Good luck

Before you reinstalled, did you manually remove all Maplestory files?
