Maple not working in Las Vegas. any tips?
So I went on a trip to Las Vegas with my family. I brought my laptop along and when I'm in California, Maple works perfectly. But now that I'm here though, none of nexon's webpages are working. When I try using the manual launcher, the game loads up, but upon trying to log in on any account, it gives the following notice regardless of the information that I put in: "Having trouble logging in? Try logging in at maplestory.nexon.net or visit the Nexon Homepage to view support options."
Anyone have any tips for getting into the game or accessing the webpage? I'm using the internet from the hotel (if that information helps at all).

I've been having a similar issue. I live in Europe, but I've always had a GMS account. But since the beginning of December, http://maplestory.nexon.net/ won't load for me. If I use a proxy however, it will load. I just can't figure out why this is happening all of a sudden.
I live in California as well, and when I went to Las Vegas a few months ago the game worked fine; just a bit of lag because of the terrible hotel internet, nothing else.

Could it be that the nexon webpages are blocked on the server that I'm getting internet from?
Either way, I have a feeling I won't be playing until I get back to cali.

OT: Honestly no idea what could be wrong. In some cases I'll go through patches where the game doesn't work. In which case, I simply wait until it randomly works again.

Of course I'm having fun, going out, and seeing things while I'm here, but there's always downtime where I'd rather be playing maple than resting, sleeping, etc.. Also, I'm under 21 (almost there), so there's not too many exciting things for me to do - especially because I've been here many times before.

Yeah, I tried using the manual launcher. Regardless of what information I put when I log in through the manual launcher, it says the error message I listed in the initial post.

My suggestion for you is go have fun in Vegas instead of playing maple.

i would have to agree with this guy. i am a maple addict, but when i go out to a far away place, i would never touch maple. not sure what to say if you have an urge to play maple while on a vacation...
...why would you play ms on a road trip, especially in las vegas? theres loads of things to do there, even for kids. what a waste

Have you tried opening Maple through gamelauncher?
they are having problems all week now so I would keep trying b/c mines works fine and im on maplestory right now. It's just a few handful of people having way more problems than I have.

I am using connection from a hotel, but my connection is really fast. I'm able to access every and all other websites that I have tried at high speed. It's only maple (and all of nexon.net) that doesn't even load.
maybe its the connection in las vegas. Are u at a hotel ? If so they have nada good connections in some places?

I tried using a different browser and reconnecting to the internet, but neither have allowed me to enter the website.
try resetting the internet or log into nexon website and sign in or use a diff browser. im in Scania as well. hi my name is ray
