No, your range will go up.

Bows use a 1.15x multiplier now.
Xbows use a 1.35x multiplier now.

After Jump;
Bows use a 1.3x.
Xbows use a 1.35x.

So your range divided by 1.15x, then multiplied by 1.35x would be the highest based on equips/stats/levels alone.

But, your range divided by 1.15x, then multiplied by 1.3x would be 3rd (which it is now I believe anyway, even without getting the better multiplier), this would be your post jump range based on your highest submission in the guide. =3

Plus he's busy as hell with real life, meaning he's not even getting around to the basil issues yet. There's a lot to get done before he is gonna consider unnecessary changes (plus, at our mod meeting we gave him an approved list of changes, so he has all that to do as well, once he's done with everything important)

MrB doesn't think about any of that - if he doesn't like the idea, it's not gonna happen. That's basically what I was told before I was a mod, and now that I am one, I realized it's actually true

I feel like I give the bowman thread too much hell anyway.

My range only breaks 10k with MW 30 and an Energizer this thread makes me feel so weak for a lvl 152 but I'm not funded and I play in Nova where there isn't any godlike BM gear

In my objective viewpoint I'm ok with my damage therefore I don't play for damage. Being satisfied means I no longer seek improvement so in that regard I don't play for damage.
I enjoy myself with friends and their company... nothing wrong there.
I don't need a bigger range to do anything more. I can already face most of the high end bosses without a problem so no problem with that.
And in my viewpoint people who are obsessive about their range are in some sense of the word well "have wrong priorities" In the end what does it matter if you can solo zak in 3 seconds or 40 minutes. All you save is: time, potions. And yes overtime the cost of the potions saved should outweigh the cost of becoming that godly but again the satisfaction I get from the game isn't so much as from the damage as the achievement of doing something challenging and in that regard having a low range is good because more things are challenging.

So I ask again who gives a

Who can't have real friends, have fun, and have a life on the side. If you can't multitask, so be it. You make friends and have fun on MS to supplement your friends and fun in real life.

You don't play for damage, huh? I'll give you a basic crossbow and lv 10 equips, and see how you like the game then. That's a worthless excuse that everyone makes. You don't play mmo's for grinding and button mashing. You play a mmo to see improvements in damage. There are people who started the game playing for damage, but eventually, they quit and play for the connections they've made for people. Those people still did play for damage at some point.

Like I said before, who can't have "a life" outside MS. How is having a high range childish? It shows commitment and dedication, both of which are not at all childish. If you call hackers who make tons of real money in this game childish and have a high range, you're just kidding yourself.

Sorry, this seem's like a personal attack on you, but you just listed the points so clearly, I had to evaluate to them and respond to each type of response.

Are you saying there is no such thing as game addiction. I know a friend whose' sister is addicted to maplestory and has absolutely no life. All things in moderation is my motto. There is a fine line between playing for fun and playing for the sake of playing. Also not all people are equally gifted in time management and ability to multitask. The point of having friends on the outside playing with you is more so that the friends can remind and assist in the faculties the person lacks.

Yes granted we all play for progress but there is a fine difference between the amount of effort put in and the reward gotten. And the balance that some people have in this ratio is different from others. I for instance have one were I don't put in effort in such as to spend money. Once I need to spend money to improve myself is when the cost outweighs the anticipated benefit. Does that mean I don't use nx. No I mts all the time but there still is a point were I draw the line and say I could be better but I don't want to put so much effort into it just to be that tiny bit better.

As stated before the point of anticipated benefit to cost is something that each person much value themselves base on what they want. I merely state that anything over ones fine line is what they would call excessive and unreasonable and there is nothing wrong with ones objective view in that regard. I find many of the people that spend tons of nx and [b]time[/b] to be in some regards less rational. Although by all objective reasons you could just as well say they are more determined. Then again you could say they are more disillusioned and all we are really talking about is personal opinion and just swapping out adjectives so you may as well see that my objective view on the matter are my own and you have yours. There is no disagreement per say just two ways of looking at things

I want to enjoy myself with my real life friends and have fun.
To facilitate that I only need minor range. Nothing fancy not even average.
I always found the people who care about it childish and no lifers.

@neokins: It's not about it being you being at your best, it shows progression as well, heck, one of the main reasons why I upload my ranges, lets you see where you've come from. ^^

@chibicross: 1/2 posters a week in the guide itself just doesn't make it look very active.

@hungry1: There is only 1 issue with your submission *points to top right corner*, it does need to be visible, or I'd be hiding it and appling, get one up the same, just with the top right in view, then I have no probs uploading it.
