10 years and im finally picking a main
Ok so ive been a player since i was in 7th grade, (im almost 22 now), i love and will always love this game, its a huge part of my childhood, not to go off topic and reminisce but ive seen it all lol, soooooooooooo im finally going to actually try to hit 200, i know how easy this is for some people but for me i could have had multiple lvl 200s in the time ive dedicated to this game, but im finally ready to stop goofing around and play just 1 character, i have every class at least lvl 120....the hard part of this decision is funding due to being hacked multiple times and not knowing what the future in MS is ever going to bring, my highest lvls are a 140 Mercedes and a 139 hero, i have no mastery books for any of my characters, i dont necessarily want dmg as my main focus point because if that was the case Kaiser and luminous would be my decision, my 139 hero with just my eqps ive always used (14 atk wgs, 4 atk PAC) evo rings etc etc, has a range of only 6.4k and hitting no more than 15k's with their new skill that hits 5 times.....while my lvl 100 luminious has a range of almost 9k and hits 40 to 50k each hit with that chain light skill so ridiculous...
so all in all im looking for a decent class with mobility and not much funding required to be decent
Mobility is a huge deciding factor...not having flash jump really feels akward to me lol

Demon Slayer !
I say Cannoneer, the books are really cheap, cannons are cheap and it's a really fun class.
The mobility could be better but I'm not complaining, you have a large variety of attacks and my favourite part is that they aren't seen very often.
I also love my DB and we have great mobility, but DBs can be a bit pricey and the skill books can be difficult to get.
Between Merc and Hero, I would probably say Hero, I always kinda liked Heroes they seemed really cool, but I'm not much of a warrior person (and I like your Heroes appearance a lot more than your mercs).
@Bloodflow122 that's awesome, and nice IGN Donny Darko was an awesome movie.
I'd suggest a shad.

i havent played for 8 years straight lol ya that would be sad, i have my ons and offs with maple, after big bang i played for about a week or 2 and quit for roughly 8 months, i dont have as much time to play anymore being 22 and having responsibilities (Work, being a father, husband) My wife use to play with me ^_^ fun times lol
Make a Kaiser. It is pretty mobile, is good without funding( Mine has like a 15k range at 120 with all event gear), and Kaisers are just badbutt.
Make a Jett.

Maple opened up in the end of 2005 (so basically 2006) meaning it has only been playable for 7 years. Meaning either u started when u were 15, or you are actually only 19, or ur just completely lying to use and wanting to be an original mapler without doing ANY research at all.

Im pretty sure kaiser is the strongest right now in GMS despite people who will swear by mechs dbs and mercs. Haven't checked any charts lately though. But he is definitely by far the most capable class after unlimited (in KMS at least). He ignores dr. Best now, best later, fun to play. I dont see where you could go wrong.[/quote]
lol because i get characters to 120 ish and then make new ones and it use to be a lot harder to level, i remember when himes were first released man people went nuts thinking 1 level at 95 in 4 hours was good XD
OT, continue your hero. If you don't want to spend tons on funding, you will be doing good enough damage! If you have all of your books by lvl 160, I can guarantee that you will be hitting 100k+ on bosses with all your buffs (panic debuff and enrage included).

One thing I have learned over the years of playing: Stop caring what other say about your class. If you enjoy it, play it.

The korean version started in 2003, and I doubt many people here have been playing since the Korean version first released.
