Give me some good scary movies to watch
I'm bored and I tried search for good scary movies to watch but none really pop out at me. I've seen all the paranormal activity movies (can't even call them scary they're a joke), all saws, and a bunch of other well known horror movie series. I'm not into zombie movies because they just bore me. I do like "found footage" style movies and movies involving haunted houses and/or ghosts. I also prefer more recent movies but as long as it's generally past 2000 I'll watch it. So guys, know and good horror movies to watch online?

Seen all of them but the fourth kind, high tension, and TCM. I'll have a look at some of them when I get the chance. Might not try TCM though, while I don't hate gore or anything, I find when horror movies are centralized by gore (saw movies for example) then they just aren't scary. I love movies that get you going through suspense and not knowing what's going to happen next over twenty people being bludgeoned to death and having blood squirt unrealistically everywhere. Although gory movies can still be scary I'm just giving my personal experience. Thanks again!

This was the one that was a homage to 80s slasher flicks, right? I've had it bookmarked forever.

Seen all of them except vhs2. VHS1 sucked IMO but wb pans grave encounters were both really good
Scary movies these days mostly consist of cheap jump scares and shocking scenes.
@2005chuy Knows what's going on. Just avoid Grave Encounters 2.

Aww I just find the older movies to not have the horror suspense and Sfx I'm looking for, I don't need gore but I'd like to believe im there

Watched it. I like it when I was younger but now my attention span for "omg a noise or shadowy figure it's a ghost" has diminished. Not claiming they're real or fake just don't find ghost hunting shows to be any bit enjoyable to watch. Thanks though!

it's not horror, per se.
But I did find it very disturbing.
Watched House of the Devil with this girl. She really, really liked the movie and given that she's a bigger horror movie fan than I am, I'll take her word for it that it was a great film. It got positive reviews as well, so you should be able to find something to like in it.
