Firepoisonarchmage

Im confused about F/p

What exactly about its fourth job skills makes it so much stronger than the other mages? What is this mist eruption? I read the description in the Classes section of Basil, but couldn't understand it.

OT: the multiplier of ME works like this: (345%)(1.35^5) assuming no other damage changes

My f/p is level 125 with level 29 mist eruption (12k range). I'm breaking 300-350kx8 at LHC with 5 DoTs. It's pretty powerful when used right and setting up is easier than I thought.
My advice learn how to hit as many things as possible at once (at crockies you can boom all 4 platforms at once from the middle).
Also don't forget paralyze is pretty powerful aswell.

For the slow argument I've been with a f/p before at pierre and the slow is pretty useful ( I'm a marksman). Especially since these bosses have interesting mechanics.
Also slow doesn't do anything to Vellum
It slows his movement while he's underground. It helps a lot in making sure he pops up inside mist.
No idea what you talking about. I cant stunt or slow down these boss i basicly die with my lvl 117 f/p mage.
You can't stun, but you can in fact, use Slow on them. It helps a bunch when against Pierre and Queen. Von Bon is a little iffy as since he's slowed down, he can walk slowly across a white clock. Also slow doesn't do anything to Vellum
They good for abyss...you spam mist and run. Let your party do the rest of the work. When it wears off , repeat it
Or....you could just help fight and help the party. You have any idea how handy it is to be able to slow down these bosses to make them more manageable and the fact you can deal the most damage if your like -lvl 130 compared to anyone else in a party full of -130?

As I always say to friends asking about f/p's, Cap is easiest hit on a f/p.

Mist Eruption is a move which gets stronger the more different types of DoT moves you stack on the opponent. Most of the DPM comes from being able to stack 5 different types then using Mist Eruption to blast the Mist for super damage. So you would stack the DoT either from Paralyze, Flame Demon, Poison Breath, Big Bang, Meteor or Poison Mist (or Flame Gear if you have it). Even with an unfunded range, the damage from Mist Eruption stacked from 5 DoTs is just phenomenal and F/P's has the highest damage from a single move compared to any other mage.
