Some damn kid ran into my 97 Supra with a POS Civic Hatchback, I damn near went to jail that day.
Had to work on my '94 Cadillac Seville a lot before we finally sold it because it still wouldn't work.
We only changed a few things though. It wouldn't start most of the time, and the mechanics couldn't figure it out either.

I put quite a bit of work into my 08 acura tl-s 6MT ..as it stands, unless youre in a gtr, a lambo or a porshe or somethin, I would eat u alive in a race. Easily... its supercharged (extra turbo) and everything. Plus its still an amazing luxury car.. best of both worlds.
My first time working with cars I wasn't so willing, but I had a friend who was really into it. And working on cars became important for me because it was important to him.
We worked on his 98 Ford Mustang GT
Swapped the rear and front coil with race grade coils that lowered it an 1.5 inches (car would whip around corners like a go-kart)
Swapped the control arms
Put on performance shocks and tightened them
Cold Air Intake
Ball-Bearings
Throttle-body spacer
And then basic maintenance stuff:
Brakes, Tires, Tune-up, oil change, radiator
We had access to a mechanic shop and could use their tools and equipment to work on his car at a 7/hr rate.
