Recently removed Ms from my computer
Now when I try redownloading the game, I get this error code midway through the installation. error code = -40 installation failed (11315,-3)

It might be a sign...
I got it too, then I downloaded from steam like somebody suggested me to and it worked fine. Give that a shot is the only advice I can give
i got that once, too. I just kept trying, and at one point i didnt get that error.
