you can only get keylogged if you downloaded something if you didn't download something then you should be fine
You can also be infected through security vulnerabilities in the software you use to view webpages. Flash player is notoriously bad about this.

Whenever ANYTHING suspicious happens you should first UPDATE your anti-virus scanner and then run a full scan of your computer, just to be safe.

Your anti-virus scanner should already be set to automatically update itself EVERY DAY, and automatically run a scan EVERY DAY all by itself, but when something suspicious happens, you should do that manually right away.

To answer your original question, there's no reason why a phishing site would have to worry about taking the additional risk of being detected by your anti-virus scanner by trying to inject a keylogger into your computer since they're counting on YOU just willingly typing in your login and password to get whatever "free stuff" they're offering on their site, or by tricking you into thinking you're on the "official site".

So it would be pretty unusual to have to worry about getting a keylogger from a phishing site, but anything is possible.

That's why it's important to ALWAYS scan your computer if you're suspicious of something.

(And- it helps if you also run "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware" anti-spyware scanner after you scan with your anti-virus scanner, just to be doubly safe. Always UPDATE Malwarebytes before scanning with it because the free version doesn't automatically do that for you.)

Yes you can. A website can run a script and plant a Keylogger on your computer.
