Maplestory BSoD(?) help.

Hey basil, I need help getting Maple to work on my computer again. Since Nexon made us download those files from a server maintenance Maple has stopped working. When I start up Maple everything goes fine, splash loads, hackshield loads, and it tries to go into Maple's full-screen start up. At this point the screen turns gray, then teal, then four horizontal bars with different colors (white, red, and two others), then goes into a blue screen, and it keeps repeating from the gray to the blue screen until I have to forcefully shut the computer down. I never had BSoD before, but this doesn't seem like one. Anyone have any possible tips that might help me resolve this problem? My graphics are up to date, already made sure of that.

Yeah because your computer spec should have no problem playing Maple Story at all! Maybe it's a Windows 7 glitch thing

Try posting on Nexon's forum. Good luck!

I also really appreciated

I'll just play on my laptop, see if the desktop fixes itself later on. : Or I'll just wait until I get a new computer.
I just reread your post and realized I misread it (thought you was having a graphical problem then it went to the BSoD - not a sequence of your screen changing colors...). That's not a BSoD, so the BSV won't help in this case. Sorry about that.

Try uninstalling your graphical driver and reinstalling it.
I tried that. Uninstalled on normal mode and safe mode, and re-installed. I even did a factory restore for the heck of it, and nothing.

I'll try what @Knight5n1p3r posted.
@qwan456 I'll try it out. I'll post computer specs after I try the BSV, as for now I don't get any error, just changing screens. If you mean after the BSV, I'll post it as soon as I get it done.

You seem to have a frequency problem, I think.

Go to your Maplestory folder and find the program "Setup". Run it and then it'll scan for your frequencies. If you get a BSOD there then that's a problem. If you can't see anything in the screen, follow directions and keep on going until you can see something. It'll just keep on trying different frequencies until it matches your computer's.
Thanks for the input, I already tried this and no luck. : Only had one matching frequency and it didn't work.

Edit: I have no dump files, started maple again, got the same problem and still nothing. I'm still leaning towards it not being a BSoD, but I can't view Maple at all still. Also, this time my computer actually recognized the ctrl+alt+del, and I didn't have to force it to shut down.

Total amount of system memory - 8.00 GB RAM
System type - 64-bit operating system(Win7)
Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz 2.33GHz
Display adapter type - Intel(R) G45/G43 Express Chipset

If something else is needed let me know.

Download/Install BlueScreenView >> Run BSV >> Select all the recent BSoDs you have >> Go to File, Save Selected Items, and save it >> Open the .txt file and copy and paste the info here.

If for some reason you don't have any .dmp files of the BSoD, go to Start >> Right-Click on Computers >> Advanced system settings... >> In the Advanced tab, click on Settings... for "Startup and Recovery" >> Uncheck Automatically restart under "System Failure >> Apply and ok.

That was for Vista, and I believe it's similar to XP or Win7 as well. If you do the second option, you will need to start the BSoD again.
Anyways, we need some info from you before we can help you. First, what are your computer specs? Your Operating System? And what does the BSoD say? Using this as an example, the STOP code (the first line on that image), the error (in this case, DRIVER_IQRL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL), and the file name (WXYZ.SYS) will be help in diagnosing your problem.
