Basilmarket becomes unresponsive
Every now and then, the entire page just "freezes." I can still scroll, but I can't click any links. Any ideas on what's causing this problem?
Okay, I have a hypothesis on what is causing this problem (because I have it too and I use Chrome and Adblocker).
Apparently, there is this really annoying Toshiba laptop ad that drops down and makes the links unclikable. People without adblocker would close the ad as soon as it shows up, so they don't get this problem. However, our adblocker doesn't work as perfectly as the one for Firefox, and it keeps us from seeing the ad, but it also makes the links unworkable, requiring people like you and me to refresh the page to make the links work again.
It's just a hypothesis, but it makes sense.
That could be it!
Perhaps you're correct.
I guess Mr. B needs to contemplate about that ad. It's just ridiculous.
He needs to contemplate about excessive ads in general
I think it the laptop ad that cause the lag when u have adblock for chrome

yes i am experiencing the same problem
just freezes and then i have to restart my browser like 2 times usually to make it stop
but it eventually comes back to haunt me
I think I found the issue.
Sometimes that goddamn freaking Toshiba ad from Hell lags/doesn't come up properly, thus Basilmarket is unresponsive because the ad is 'up' but not really up.
But I have adblock, how come it's still unresponsive?
Is it just basil?
