Weird iTouch problem Ok, so I have a grand total of 3 problems. First problem: My iTouch thinks the year is 2554 "BE." (Dunno what that means) Second: I have some residual code from jailbreaking, my numerical battery is still there. Third: Same as second, my MakeItMine settings still appear (modified carrier). How do I fix this (I only really care about the first)?
Make your PC faster! Soluto Soluto is a quick and easy tool to stop startup programs (programs that launch when you log on). I highly recommend this program, I cut about 50% of my launch time with this. It also has this nice tool called the Pc Genome, and it tells you what percent of users did what action (leaving it in boot, or deleting if off of boot). CCleaner This application deletes your Temporary files, history, cookies, download history, form history for all browsers you have. It also deletes your Recycle Bin, Recent Documents, Temporary files and Log files, and cleans your registery up. [header]If you have any other programs you use, comment below![/header
To all Windows 7 users! Are you experiencing problems with Windows Explorer (the thing you use to browse your files) after the update that was released recently? I updated today, and I'm having a lot of trouble using my computer. I'm currently running a Malwarebytes scan, but I'm pretty sure my computer has not become infected with anything new from the time period of yesterday and today.
No BIOS screen on this old PC So I was reviving an old PC over the weekend, and I was hoping to install Ubuntu, or another distro of Linux. However, I noticed that there was no bios screen upon startup. Basically when I press the startup button, it goes to this splash screen that says "eMachines" (manufacturer), and then goes straight to the Windows XP boot logo. I tried mashing f10 and f12 during the splash screen, but no luck. When I'm in Windows, it does recognize the disc, so I'm not sure what's going on. Help!
