Weird Hot Day Box Glitch?

So I just got online, accepted the gift box on my Dark Knight, and I noticed that the box contained a 'Rhinne's Protection Coupon'... but I noticed there was also one in the system gift window, so I thought, "Hey, okay, they're giving away two of those Cash Shop effects!"

Nope... turns out the coupon gave me, for whatever reason, a set of Elven Spirit Gloves... of which I already own a permanent set... which is currently on my Beryl-roid. Did this happen to anyone else, or has this game just really been kicking me in the ass lately with all the crappy luck?
