So where exactly do Cube Blades come from?
I have gotten a few from commerci, but no where else.
I have read they drop from the random flowers and ore veins around the maps, but I have never seen one from those either. Coincidentaly I have gotten a few full cubes from the ore veins, but never a cube blade.

Do you mean Cubic blades? Ranmaru drops them sometimes, as do elites. The bosses in Commerci trade voyages also have a chance to drop them.
The big mobs that spawn have a decent chance of dropping them
Strangely, I had a cubic blade drop from Madman Ranmaru once.
It's just a chance thing. There are some quests that give them as rewards. Or you have a chance from elite bosses.
