Is Big SPider Buff Bugged?
So I have been testing this over the past few hours and I have concluded that, either MP3 is not affected by big spider, or that big spider does not affect Mesos like it says.
After 10 min of fighting and keeping a VERY close eye on the pickup list. the largest Meso bag I picked up was ~1380
So a big spider is supposed to buff meso and item drop by 30%?
So after summoning my Big Spider I should see the largest meso bag be somewhere around 1700-1800.
Nope. Largest Bag is still ~1380 after another 10 min
So I thought, well maybe it is making more bags drop. Ok lets test that. I emptied all my meso into my bank and did an attendance check with my spider, 300 MP3 mobs dead. Hopped onto my similarly leveld alt and did the attendance check there. 300 mobs at MP3
The big spider character actually ended up with slightly less meso, only about 10k, but still it should have ended up with 30% MORE, and it ended up with relatively the exact same.
So what gives, is the Big spider broken or is just MP3 broken?

increase droprate, not quantity in meso bags.
Ok so everyone is essentially saying you get more meso bags. Not more meso per bag.
So everyone apparently also thinks that a test pool of 300 monsters is not enough to get an accurate assessment
@rexaar is right. higher chance it'll drop the sack, but it doesn't affect what's inside the sack. Also, you would want to change your number from 300 to higher probably 1k
The proper way to test if more meso bag drops is to count how many bags you pick up, not looking at how much mesos you have because you have no control over how much mesos you get per bag and there's two different monster on the map so you're dealing with two different range of mesos drops. (you also need to do more test because 1 test is never accurate due to the randomness)

K, so this is exactly where the thinking is incorrect. Spider, like any other drop rate % enhancers, raises the [b]chance[/b] of mesos to drop as opposed to what you think which is the amount within the stack. In this case, it was the stack of mesos, where you assumed it would be more mesos. This was what @Wall was trying to get through I am guessing. Like @Wall said though, even with drop rate % enhancers, it only raises the probability of the items/mesos dropping under the category of RNG. (Random Number Generator/Generated)
