Recently, I've seen people who've started to dress like the opposite gender, both male and female. This thread is dedicated to perfecting those styles one by one! The purpose is to know the do's and don't's of what to wear. If garnered with enough attention, I'll probably turn the TS post into an official guide!

Remember to uncheck the right gender when it comes down to it, or you may get the wrong combination/confused!

Cheating? Nah. Easy mode? Yup. Unisex features are not only the easiest to work with when full-out gender-bending, but also the best way to achieve complete androgyny. I've had the same trouble with not using Piercing Gaze. I luv the face a lot, but I have to force myself to try other faces to not get into a rut of similar cross-dressed avvies.

Ehm also, Hudler and Uiow wasn't intentionally made girl-looking, I just wanted them to look cute and, I guess girls look cute,
@ScienceProject Exotica is a bit tough to work with, contrary to popular belief. The eyes seem a bit too masculine, and the outfit doesn't add much. As for the second, you did a nice job there from female to male! I was honestly about to rate it the other way until you said it was FtM.
@Viking You did a nice job on both of your people! My only suggestions would be that for Hudler, you might want to get some shield cover (this is unrelated to looking female), and maybe some pink blush?
@Braviary Same comment as @ScienceProject, although it's nice right now as is. Have you tried using purple hair?

I would see my characters as examples, Uiow, Hudler, you can see both on my basilid page. Since i changed my nx on those characters people ive met have been saying, "oh god guys invite her to the party her damage is good".
I just got a VIP hair coupon from a log out event. Can't wait until I finally implement the first look!

I really like the designs on the top left and bottom left, it gives off just the right amount of androgyny.

Traps are generally males who crossdress into being female, and do it well.
Reverse traps are basically the same thing... in reverse.
I seem to be missing something here...What exactly do you guys mean by Traps?

@jsbk02 Evan eyes are hard to work with, in my opinion. The easiest thing to do would be to find a hat/hair that covers the eyebrows; those are always a dead giveaway. You're using a polo and jeans, so you might wanna find more metrosexual wears. The pink/white scheme has pluses, though. I wouldn't choose the first hair.
@Braviary The MtF one, you might wanna find a better fitting hat. As of right now, the outfit he's wearing gives off a more [i]colorful[/i] look, rather than a feminine one, if you get what I mean. As for the FtM one, I completely thought she was a guy, if that was what you were shooting for.

The thing is, you don't wanna look [i]too[/i] feminine, or people will start to suspect it. However, if you remove every trace of masculinity, it defeats the whole purpose of traps.
