if you play maple of steam it will tell you how many hours you have played

besides playing on steam, theres also raptr which if you have an amd graphics card they have the gaming evolved thing that is powered by raptr
it keeps track of time spent as well as being a recording program

formula is. Total nx spent divided by how many years you've played the game = how many hours you've played in one year.
