Hello friends, i has been many a years since i played this game. I'm wondering how the state of the game is, how the economy is, and generally how toxic the community is now. I can't say quite how long i've been gone, but i know i played/quit before mercedes came out. what's new since then? I think i saw somewhere that there were like 30 jobs wat

People's opinions and expectations changed. Maplestory is still good.

Logic is overrated I guess.
No NX is needed to be pretty strong, just a lot of time and events and characters. The economy is dead in some servers and limping in most others.

It's not so nx reliant anymore... I mean cubes not from the cash shop
Economy is ok... Same as usual except empress is cheap like RLLY cheap
And the new chaos root abyss bosses (strongest bosses in game which drop the lv 150 set that everyone wants) set is also cheap unless u want Mage pants </3...

It's better... Just don't make a phantom without at least 100 bil u could pour into him because ppl say he's strong... Only bcuz he has good dps

How NX reliant is the game now? Before i'd bought nx maybe once or twice in my life and managed to get upto ~10bill in item worth without paying much (which likely isnt much now). Would it be hard to be able to compete with current players without buying insane amounts of it?
