How fast is your internet?
Mine is pretty slow because I share with 3~4 other people. I can surf the web, watch low quality videos, but when it comes to online gaming I will lag or downloading large stuff I only get like 1 MB per/s

I've always wondered this too. Why is the standard for speed in bits when all actual downloads are in bytes?

In my dorm, it gets up to 200 mbps in certain parts of campus and i haven't tested with an ethernet cable yet.
I don't have fast internet. Should be at 16 Mbps.
Used to be 3 Mbps a while ago. That was great. It was like 0.3 MB/s lol.

i used to get a crazy speed, past the advertised one (xfinity blast) but now it's like 90 something because we switched accounts. who knew the rented and combined modem/router was actually good? o___o
still good tho i mean it's reliable bc ethernet and we are paying way less with our own modem and router. for ppl using wifi it was devastating lol

No, my download speeds tend to be low-ish. Unless I'm downloading from like, Google or Microsoft, then I usually never break 10 mb/s.

I don't know why it's so slow, cause my dad has been getting 30mbps ever since we got Comcast (years and years ago). But I used to get about 12mbps with ethernet, and now I'm on WiFi on my laptop, about 10 feet away from the router (through a wall), and I only get 5mbps.

it is not fast because i am american and we do not have fast internet
~50ish Mbps download, ~10Mbps upload.
It's not terrible, but it's not exactly stream material either.
