Ipod touch 5 vs Samsung Galaxy 3?

Both are the same or similar prices. Which is better for camera, games and keeping notes and reminders? I'm leaning to Samsung because it has a phone and it is basically the Ipod but the Ipod is more popular. (I am a bit of an Isheep though, if you know what I mean )

Not a fan of mobile gaming, but I'd imagine they'd be about the same performance wise. But the galaxy can do music, games, take notes, give reminders and all of that. The only reason I'd see for having a separate device for all of that would be saving the battery on your phone for emergencies rather than killing it playing music and games. But otherwise, galaxy all the way.

And this is coming from someone who could care less about smart phones.

iPod touches were great 4 years ago. Now they are more expensive than a iphone.
