Heck no. If anyone here has worked a job that doesn't require a degree the chances are its a crappy job and experience. Unless the job you are working is some sort of internship or a dream job its not fun.
For me, I could care less about pay but I just want something that aspires me to do something. I fear working that 8-5 job. I don't know how people aren't scared sitting at a desk for the rest of their life.

@CantBeStopped: Im general manager at a hotel. I get paid a set amount of about 400$ a week during the vacation. I'm also still in uni.

Probably, if I'm on break and if it's not minimum wage.

@Luapxal344: Its only till the 21st. Then i get a 2 month vacation. Pays not bad either and theres no manual labour or stress, so it's pretty alright.

@ApplesAreOkay: You said your own place I thought you meant move out of your parents house. Anyone can do that. I didn't derp out you did by setting a goal that everyone who isn't a neckbeard is capable of accomplishing. If you was talking about buying a house then that's a different story.

@CantBeStopped Its not that bad except when its the 16-18 hour days 7 days a week.. Most people I work with are crazy. You kind of have to be to want to do what I do.

...I've been working 5 8-hour days and usually a mandatory 6-8 hours on Saturday. so ya. no. I'm sick of it.

No working 8 hours a day isnt my LIFE goal, or just owning my own place.
Its just the NEXT goal I want to take after college. Apparently any loser can purchase a house while paying for college. By your standards the only goal acceptable is to cure cancer.

I work for a digital advertising agency where one of our clients is a local brewery, so sometimes they pay us in beer. (lol kidding, but yeah that is one of the perks). So yeah, it's not some secret or anything.

after working my last job...
all i thought about was getting an 8hr job.

I'm already doing that. My 40 hour work weeks have already turned into 50 hours and now sometimes 60 hour work weeks. Good thing I enjoy my job, and the (infinitely refillable) keg of beer in the office isn't so bad either.
