What type of mouse
Hi,I'm looking for a new mouse, nothing too fancy. Right now I'm thinking between a nexus sm-5000 and a deathadder. I used to have a sm - 8500, nexus makes great mice. The games I play are Maple, LoL, Vindictus, and that's about it. Also what type of mouse do you guys have?
The best way to finalize the decision is to actually use both mice or any other mouse for that matter.
DeathAdder
Approximate Size : 127 mm / 5.00" (Length) x 70 mm / 2.76" (Width) x 44 mm / 1.73" (Height)
Approximate Weight: 148 g / 0.33 lbs
G300
Approximate Size : 115 mm / 4.5" (Length) x 72 mm / 2.8" (Width) x 37 mm / 1.4" (Height)
Approximate Weight: 82g / 0.18 lbs
*The G300 is an ambidextrous mouse
My friend has a Deathadder and he's letting me try it out for a bit. So I'll make my decision after that.
The two mice differ by shape, size, and the number of buttons. As a result, each of these mice feel different in the hand.
*The Abyssus is an ambidextrous mouse
*The DeathAdder has two left side buttons
*The DeathAdder is considerably larger in all dimensions and twice as heavy

In that case, the Deathadder would be better. So now it's a choice between the G300 and the Deathadder :S

Logitech G9x seems like a decent choice for you if you don't mind the ~$60 price tag. It gives you different grips that'll change the size of the mouse so you'll have a better chance at finding the one most suited for you.
The RAT series of mice also does this with customizable palm rests and stuff.
logitech g series isn't too bad, and they're not that expensive i dont think.
I took a look at the G300 and it seems alright, right now I'm trying to find out which one would fit the best in my hand but I cant seem to find the physical specs of them.
Sorry for stealing thread, but . . . Anyone have any recommendations for a mouse that doesn't make a noise while clicking? When playing LoL it gets me annoyed xD
Any of the nexus mice will do the trick. Nexus site
If you're looking for a smaller claw grip mouse, then I would recommend the Razer Abyssus, the Cooler Master CM Storm Spawn, and the Logitech G9x.
Actually, now that I think of it, I use both types of grips, a pushed back claw grip when I'm casually using the internet, and a hybrid like palm grip when I'm gaming. When combined with the rubberized surface of the 8500 I think that's what made me sweat. Also I'm currently using a Logitech M-BJ58, I think it's a bit small. When I hold in my hybrid grip, it almost reaches the edge.
EDIT: Also the CM and the Logitech don't really appeal to me :L
Cheap wireless Logitech M305. It's got some sick designs on it.
You should get a white mouse.
But don't feed it cheese! It's bad for it's digestive system.
I'd get the deathadder. I'm using the sidewinder x8 and razer mamba.

lol i have a wired microsoft one.
The Razer Imperator's shape is somewhat similar to the Nexus SM 8500's. The Razer Abyssus is claw grip mouse with a much shorter lateral length. My other claw grip recommendations are the Logitech G300 and Razer DeathAdder. Different people will have a different feel for each of the four mice I have named, all of which I use or have demoed. The only mouse of the four that I like is the Razer DeathAdder, from what I assume because I have a palm hold.
If I remember correctly, the 8500 back was a bit uncomfortable for me, it touched my palm slightly and made them sweat, which they never do...
I have an HP wireless mouse and a standard mouse from ibuypower.com, which is where I purchased my custom built computer.
Perhaps a mouse with a numpad on the side or something of the sort would be good for you if you play Vindictus.
Vindictus is more of a every now and then game for me, or when everything else is down.
I won't recommend a mouse until I know how you hold your mouse. The Nexus-8500 you had leads me to assume you either: have small hands and have a palm hold or have average sized to large hands and have a claw grip.
Uhm, I would say I am more of the second one.

Oh I forgot to mention that my price range is like 80 dollars max
not a fan of raZer products I prefer SteelSeries.
My problem with the deathadder for me was that it didn't feel comfortable to my hand.
I thought you meant an aminal
Logitech MX518
No. Whilst the shape/clicking might be quite nice, its tracking is rather poor compared to others.
The DeathAdder would get my vote. The Coolermaster Spawn is an alternative.
Logitech MX518, best one there is. It's not too expensive either.
I like my Logitech g700. It's comfortable and has enough buttons/macros to let me do pretty much anything I need to do for casual gaming or work related things.
