[quote=McDerpy]I use asdf+buttons around it.
Q [Quest] W [Attack2] E [Buff/Attack4 R [Buff] T [Buff]
A [Attack3] S [Pickup] D [Attack1] F [Jump] G [Buff/Attack5]
Z [Stat Menu] X [Buff] C [Buff] V [Buff] B [Buff]
Simple Simple :c[/quote]
Duuuuuude your settings are almost like mine lol.
Buffs on Q-T, sit/pickup/jump/1vs1/macro 1vs1 skill skill on A-G, attack skills on Z-V, and CD skills on shift or ctrl. Home,PgUp, etc are pots.
I use default LoL keys for my skills O.o
I use a PC controller for most of my Mapling needs, so the keyboard layout is rarely a problem for me.
@HastyHeist:
Yea I don't know why people play with default keys xD
I dislike the Jump button on Alt button, actually I don't even like to use that button at all. I only use it to press Alt+Enter.
Only a few buttons are on default the other buttons are either moved to another key or are completely wiped off the keyboard.
I would like to use a controller but I am sure it would be annoying to keep putting the controller down to use the keyboard to type things.
My left hand is positioned as it was in the typing position, only my right hand needs to move from the arrow keys to the 'JKL:' buttons, so I can play the game and type things quickly. My hands doesn't hurt either.
i can honestly say my commands are anything BUT default! V to jump, I for regular attacks, del and end for MP and HP ( start and select on my controller), etc.
I dont like it when a game doesnt have jump on space...
[quote=Fiercerain]@HastyHeist: Uhm, make sure the drivers are installed for the controller, first and foremost. Open up Xpadder and look for an option to create a new mapping layout. It should give you prompts to discover what buttons and triggers the controller has. After you map out all the basics of the controller, you can start assigning specific keys and directions to the controller. You have to be uber-specific in your assignment though, just because you move the left analog stick left to move left in maplestory does not mean you will move left. You have to assign the left arrow key to the left portion of the analog stick to move left, if not, you're likely not going to move.[/quote]
I already know how to do all of that xD
The part I don't understand is that when I have maple open an such everything that I mapped doesn't apply to it. The game would still use the default joypad settings that are built within the game itself. I know how to change those too but xpadder is much better than the crap maple has.

[quote=Fiercerain]@HastyHeist: I beg to differ. :v
I use it without any problems. The auto-fire is nice too. I use an Xbox 360 controller. :o[/quote]
Wth how'd you get it to work?
I use an xbox controller too. Maybe it just didn't work in the past but it will now. I'll try it out.

yeah i find that left index finger on F and thumb on spacebar (for jump) relaxes my hand immensely.
Also it depends on the keyboard style and shape
